For me Bed Bath & Beyond is like the Walmart of Home Decor stores -- they probably have what you need/want but it's not really a pleasant or enjoyable shopping experience.
My local store feels more like a warehouse floor than a store and the employees are generally nowhere to be found when you need assistance. And you will need assistance because products are literally stacked to the ceiling.
Things could be worse at BB&B but they could also definitely be better!
I absolutely adore the Anastasia Beverly Hills brand and they were on the frontier of the liquid lipstick craze! Their formula isn't my favorite -- it can be a bit drying and application of the darker shades can be streaky, but overall I am happy with the product.
The shade range is great and ever expanding, there's really a color for everyone. I also find the wear time to be very good -- upwards of 6 hours, although personally I like to remove before eating and then reapply afterwards.
There is a lot of hype about Kohl's but personally I do NOT get it!
I went to my local store for the first time about two months ago about an hour and a half before they closed. It was a weekday night so there were very few customers in store. My friend and I walked by over 10 employees without a single one greeting us OR even acknowledging our presence.
I left without making a purchase and will never return.
For me Macy's is a hit or miss -- the quality and selection of merchandise and customer service seriously varies from location to location. I've found that typically the stores in larger cities are much, much better in every aspect than the ones you'll find in your local mall.
My local store is below average at best -- it's the largest department store in the mall but I can never find anything worth purchasing. Add to that most employees look like they'd rather be anywhere but there.
I very rarely buy from Macy's and when I do it's typically online!
I am not a fan of semi-sweet or dark chocolate so I typically do not like anything chocolate chip, but the milk chocolate chunks in these cookies are SO good! These cookies also have a great crunch to them and the macadamia nuts add some great texture and flavor as well.
They can be a little on the pricier side, so these are not something I buy every trip to the grocery store. These are a treat I let myself have about once a month.
You can find literally everything you could ever want for your home (and lots of things you didn't know you wanted) but things can be a bit on the expensive side. However, in most cases the quality more than makes up for it!
This is always my first stop when purchasing something new for my home and I will continue to shop here!
I was really unimpressed with this lipstick. The packaging, in my opinion, is terrible -- having so much product just sticking out, unable to retracted just seems like a horrible idea to me. It's very easy for the lipstick to get damaged or broken that way.
Additionally I found the shape of the bullet to be very odd -- it's almost squared off at the top, instead of coming to a singular point like most lipsticks. For me this made the application a bit awkward.
The color Toast, was okay, it's a true light brown nude, nothing very special or unique.
I ended up returning this because of these reasons and would not repurchase!
I've never worn this by itself as the color is just a touch too light for my skin tone but it looks amazing layered over a variety of nude lipsticks.
I definitely do NOT need any type of lip plumper or lip enhancing products but the hype was real around this gloss so I bought it and am happy I did. Admittedly I don't notice a huge difference in the size of my lips pre and post application -- that being said my lips are fairly substantial on their own, so maybe if they were smaller I'd see a clearer difference?
I could do without the tingling sensation but the color and formula more than makes up for it.
