I was super excited to see this collection since I follow one of the influencers that helped create it. I think the color story is unique and the idea for the whole collection is cool. The packaging is sleek and compact. I also really like the gold color too.
This is my first elf eye shadow palette, and I’m very pleased with the quality! The shimmery shades are so pretty - especially the green/gold-bronze shifting one. The matte shades are blendable and the transition shades are unique to my collection. The blue and purple shades seem brighter in the pan than on the eyes and swatched. I prefer that, and like that they are buildsbme too- especially for someone like me that is testing more colorful shadows regularly.
My only issues is after hours of wear, the shades can look a bit muddled together. They didn’t crease though. The purple does require a little more blending and building up too. Overall, good quality for the price.
I’ve used a few cheaper color correctors, but I think this one is the best I’ve tried. It’s thin enough so it doesn’t cake up crease underneath my eyes. It does provide a little coverage and helps hide my dark circles.
It wears well all day and underneath my foundation/setting powder. I know it’s pricier, but I do think I would repurchase because it’s a quality product that works. I’ll update with a photo to compare with/without side.
I really like product! Sometimes I can extend my hair without shampooing and this helps make it feel fresher without weighing it down! I don’t feel like it really adds shine as advertised, but the scent is nice and light so it’s still worth it.
I got this palette as a gift and have been loving it. The colors are so pretty and the quality is great. I know it may look boring to some, but I think the color story (Browns, golds, bronzes) make a great travel or everyday palette.
This is my first too faced eye shadow as well and have been impressed with the formula so far. The mattes are pigmented, the shimmers are easy to work with. The green is a beautiful a duo-chrome (green to purple-y-brown shift).
The packaging is super cute too. My only complaint is the shadow names aren’t printed by the shades- just a sticker on the back. The mirror also opens at an angle that makes it a little annoying to use.
Pic: used the duo chrome green on the lids- the picture doesn’t do it justice.
I have tried both of these products separately. I just think they’re OK. I think the cleanser does a decent job, and the moisturizer is OK. I have other products I really like that I would rather spend my money on.
I got a deluxe sample of this in a target beauty box. I was excited to try it, especially after reading lots of great reviews.
I’ve used it several times and think it’s a good, but not a super amazing or holy grail mascara. The wand is a little weird to me, but it does apply the product nicely. It does lengthen my lashes, but I don’t feel like it gives me the thickness/volume I look for in a mascara.
I don’t think I would buy the full sized, but think it’s an overall good mascara for the price point.
The worst part about using up makeup, is not being able to get all the product out. That’s why I bought this on amazon. I know there are similar products, and I’m sure they all work- but I like how this one is dual ended, so you don’t need multiple-sized spatulas.
So far, this has worked great at fitting into my makeup bottles for primers and foundation to get the more product out. It’s fairly stiff but still flexible enough. I would recommend buying one, especially if you’re like me and want to get as much use out of your products as possible.
Pic: Becca backlight primer- couldn’t pump anymore product, but there is still plenty on the sides and very bottom. I’ve been able to get several more uses (and still going!)
I’ve been looking for better ways to remove makeup that don’t require cotton pads or disposable wipes - and I think I found it with this! I’ve seen more expensive cleansing balms but wasn’t sure how they would work.
This one works great! It removed all my eye makeup without a problem. It feels moisturizing and didn’t make my skin will dry at all. I really like the sponge it comes with too.
