I had heard great things about Smith & Cult. I purchased Ghost Edit since I like neutrals/light colors for manicures. It does not apply evenly and is streaky. I have to apply several coats to get an even finish which takes longer to dry. I thought it was just me and my application process but I also took it to a salon for a professional manicure and they said the same thing. Also the handle for the brush is super short once you remove the gold cap.
Additionally, the polish will last 3-4 days before it looks like I completed mortal combat with my hands. I will say that I work heavily with my hands on projects around the house but I have had nail polish last 5-7 days and cost a lot less too. Not worth $18 in my opinion.
In my search to try and keep anything on my skin as natural as possible, I set out to find a great body wash that does not irritate my skin yet leaves me smelling as clean as the chemical ones. I tried a few, including some bar soaps, but I really like this one! It is a liquid so I can use it on my loofah, doesn't irritate my skin, and I feel/smell squeaky clean! I am impressed and continue to buy it in big bottles from Amazon at a great price.
I was afraid these would be over priced lip balms (like the maybelline baby lips) but these things rock!! The red ones leave a nice light tint and my lips are so moisturized. The coconut (or maybe it is pina colada) is my favorite. It leaves no color but absolute shine and softness. My only complaint is I go through these things really fast since I keep one at my desk at work and use constantly. I love these things!!!
I originally bought this soap to help with my daughter's acne. It did at first but then seemed to stop working? Of course with her being a teenager, I don't know how religiously she used it after it worked so I won't knock the product for that. I started using it and my face feels amazing. It is clean and I noticed the ruddiness (redness) that I have had since turning 30 has decreased dramatically. It doesn't dry out my skin and a bar lasts a long time! I am extremely happy with it and will continue to use as long as my skin will allow me to. I get compliments on my complexion all the time and when I tell people what I use, they are shocked. I have to caveat this with the fact that I do exfoliate 2-3 times per week with St. Ives Peach Scrub which I know helps but I use this soap the majority of the time. Also you can't beat the price! I highly recommend this!!!
My dog's love these things! They are the perfect size and not full of calories for after walk treats or going outside and doing their business. I also love that they are made in the US as I won't buy stuff for them that is not.
I feel like I am the only one who doesn't like this mascara. It did absolutely nothing for my eyelashes in terms of length or volume. Additionally, the mascara flaked off and caused major irritation to my contacts. Overall, I am not impressed with this mascara and have contemplated contacting L'Oreal to see about getting money back since I don't have packaging to return to Walgreens.
I am a die-hard Great Lash fan and have used it for years. I normally get the Lots of Lashes one that has the cone shaped brush and love it but decided to try the Great Lash Big this time around. The brush is definitely BIG and it is the same formula but I didn't feel like it got all of my lashes the way the lots of lashes brush did. So the first couple of days, I used it, my eyes didn't really pop like they normally do. I do like how it builds them up and I think it really fattens them up but again, I wasn't blown away. I always do two coats of mascara so I decided to use the BIG brush first and then use the lots of lashes brush for the second. I love it! The BIG sets the eyelashes up and plumps them out while the lots of lashes comes in and defines the lashes to make them pop. I should note that I also curl my lashes prior to using any mascara. I don't think that diminishes the usage of this though!
OMG, I love this stuff!!! I use dry shampoo after I workout (shower, don't wash hair, apply dry shampoo) and this stuff is hands down the best. Normally, when I spray dry shampoo, I have to be careful that I don't get the white spots in my hair. I never have that problem with this stuff and it applies very light yet it works amazingly. In addition, with other brands, later in the day if I run my hands through my hair and then touch my black pants, I get white marks (that is even after using a hair dryer after applying dry shampoo to help spread it around and dry it up a bit) but I never have that problem with this stuff. It never leaves anything on my hands and my hair feels great. I am slowly becoming a Dove convert as their products are so affordable and work like a charm. I highly recommend this dry shampoo!
I wanted to love this as it has SPF and is pretty inexpensive. BUT, every time I put this on my lips, I feel like I need to reapply within 10 minutes. It feels like it doesn't stay on and my lips feel dry again shortly after application. It is quite weird as I have never had that with any type of chapstick or lip balm I have used before. It might just be me but after purchasing a few times and still getting the same effect, I have decided this is not the right lip balm for me. Didn't give it one star because it does moisturize for the short-time I felt it.
