Got a sample of this mask, and I really enjoyed it. It is a pretty typical mud mask that you apply and let dry. While it’s on it’s very tingly and cooling. When you rinse it off, you rub it in circles to physically exfoliate. It has little gritty bits in it, so it really does feel like it’s exfoliating gently. After use my skin felt super soft. I followed up with an overnight moisturizing mask to rehydrate, and my skin looked great the next day! The only downside here is the price.
I like the price of this and it smells really good. However, this does not have any holding power for my wavy/curly hair. I feel like I put in a lot of gel but by the end of the day my hair is flat. I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re trying to boost curls.
This lip treatment is most similar to Carmex, but much thicker and with a good pigment (if you get the tinted one). This keeps my super dry lips hydrated all day, but the pigment obviously doesn’t have much staying power. This is good for people who suffer from habitually chapped lips, but who also want some color.
I got this from Sephora about a month ago. The color is really pretty; it is pretty similar to my regular lip color but better. The application is really easy. However, I feel like the matte finish clings to any lines and dry patches I have on my lips, so I don’t reach for this unless my lips are super hydrated. Honestly, I could find something better for less money. This isn’t worth $34 for me, but if you really like matte lipsticks this might be worth it for you.
I got a mini of this in my Ipsy bag and I’m seriously loving it. The formula is kind of thin, so you have to build it up a bit to get a dramatic look. However, because of the thin formula I’ve had zero issues with clumping or flaking. The applicator is pretty standard. This is great for everyday wear. However, I would not call this a volumizing mascara, nor would I say it is intense. This gives a subtle look perfect for everyday looks.
I got a sample of this from First Aid Beauty, and tried it out a couple times a day for about a week. I have really dry skin, and this definitely kept my skin smooth and soft. However, my skin still felt super dry to the touch. This tells me that it needed to be combined with occlusives. I liked it best combined with the original Ultra Repair Cream, but tbh I like the Ultra Repair Cream by itself, so I feel like this product is unnecessary. I wouldn't recommend this for super dry skinned folks, but it might be better for normal or combo skin.
This is definitely a different formula from the original BTS mascara. It is definitely waterproof, but I find it dries out much faster than the original. It looks kind of flaky and makes my lashes clump together too much. I really liked it when I first opened the tube, but I felt like it dried out too fast. I find it is best to remove this with the Too Faced Mascara Melt-Off (I think micellar water and other makeup removers don't remove it as well).
