I got an ounce of this soap when I bought the full size of my Dramatically Different Gel. It feels and stings like hand soap. I guess I'm not as oily as I thought, because Clinique's products for oily skin (besides the DD Gel) wreck my face. Like I might as well be using Palmolive, you know? I do not like the soap or the toner, only the moisturizer.
I only use this when my skin is feeling dry or thirsty, because it's serious stuff. I have no idea why it's called a mask; what it is is a thick gel that you rub all over your face, go to bed wearing, then wake up and marvel at how glowy and dewy your skin looks. I have the .5 oz which was $8 at Sephora, I've had it for months and it was worth every penny.
Review for: Clinique Dramatically Different™ Moisturizing Gel 6.7 oz more...
After I bought the .5 oz, I got this big one because this is simply the best moisturizer I've tried. It's great for daytime wear, with or without makeup. I've been using it every day for months now and I've barely made a dent in the bottle. The pump dispenses the perfect amount, and the square bottle is hard to knock over. Everything about this product is just fantastic.
I have this product in the Fresh Cream flavor. It's basically sugar in vaseline, you rub it on your lips and then wipe them off and the dead skin comes off with them. You can make a better version at home with granulated sugar and coconut oil, but it won't taste and smell like Fresh Cream or Iced Mint Lemonade. I use it a couple times a week, even if the scrub isn't really abrasive enough to exfoliate sufficiently, the thick salve seems to be healing to my lips.
I got this lip gloss on sale on Philosophy's website with a matching lip polishing scrub. It smells like marshmallows kind of, not like cream. Maybe it's supposed to smell like whipped cream? Anyway, I hate lip gloss, but I love Philosophy's lip gloss. It's a little sticky, but the applicator makes it easy not to use too much; it smells better than it tastes, so I'm not always licking it off my lips; and, wonder of wonders, it's actually moisturizing! This is the only lip gloss I would ever put on before I go to bed, because in the morning, my lips are plump and soft and feel great.
I got a sample from Sephora, but I didn't read carefully and didn't realize it was eye cream haha. I am blessed with pretty good under eyes, all I have is a single line running parallel to my lower eyelid that no amount of cream is going to do anything about. This certainly didn't affect my under eyes in any appreciable way. I did like using it on my lips, though!
I have big problem pores on my nose, and I'm always looking for products to make them look smaller and smoothr. This stuff, like everything from Philosophy, is both stupid expensive and totally amazing. It makes my face look super smooth, and even makes it feel smoothr and kind of velvety. The fact that it's SPF 15 is just icing on the cake.
So, I had a sample of Clinique's Take the Day off from Sephora, and I really loved it. Then I used it up. Sad face! It's really expensive! So I decided to get the Sephora brand makeup remover, because it's less expensive. IT'S TERRIBLE. It doesn't take my makeup off and it burns my eyes. I decide that I don't want to skimp on makeup remover, so I buy this. It's also really expensive, but...It works like a charm. It feels soothing on my eyes. It's oily, but I'm cool with that. Will I buy it again? I'll probably just switch to coconut oil or try some other store brands. But I'm enjoying it while it lasts.
