I love trying new products in make up and skin care and hair care. I love to watch YouTube videos of other people doing their makeup or giving their reviews on products. I am on Instagram and Facebook mostly and love to post makeup selfies and show off my new products on social media.
I have only tried a few eyeshadow primers but of the few that I did this one is hands down my favorite! I don't like using concealer as a primer because it does not help my eyeshadow stay at all the I'd like it to. I don't find a problem with blending. I used to set the whole eye but now I prefer to set in the crease and above to help with blending. While leaving the lid unset to help shimmers to hold better. I bought this twice I believe and I'd repurchase it again if I could find it anywhere near me. I think it's worth it. I'm not one to really care about packaging. Especially if it gets the job done. I would recommend this to anyone who will listen. Lol
I bought this product liking the idea that I would have one side to use for my lashes and one side to hold my brows in place. I didn't really find it held my brows down or really worked for my eyelashes. It really only felt to me like I slathered gel on to get nothing out of it. I don't think I will buy it again, I will be trying other products
This is the first brow pencil I have ever bought. It feels a little dry and I feel like I have to press a little hard to get the color onto my eyebrows. I would recommend this product for beginners wanting to get a feel of how to use eyebrow pencils. I have definitely gotten over using a brush and cream products for both my eyebrows as well as my eyeliner I love how fast and convenient it is to use this and the color is actually pretty good. I especially love that it comes with a spooly at the end, I keep losing the spooly I have that I end up using for both my brows and lashes. the pencil is on the chubby side but I don't mind it I have brows that are on the fuller side so I don't need precise application. If I'm ever in a tight spot and need a brow product that's good for it's value I will buy this again.
Review for: Not a Basic Peach, Nude Awakening, Rosé in the Air more...
I was at first a little disappointed with the Rose in the Air palette I bought first because I feel the formula for all the eye shadows in that palette are inconsistent and some of them dry and powdery, but the color payoff is still pretty good I try to go really light-handed when picking up shadow. Even though I was somewhat disappointed I figured you can't really beat the price and when I finally found the eye shadows in store I bought them almost instantly. I am pretty glad that I did. some of them still seem a little chunky but it's not a huge problem I feel like I finally have some shadows that will be quick and easy for everyday wear. at this point I am not too sure if I'll buy them again at the moment i'm just trying to experiment with color more, but you never know, there is one shade in one of the palettes I am really loving to set my eye shadow primer
I bought this about 6 months ago and I wasn't blown away by it at first so for a while it sat on my counter unused. But I used it again and I find it so much better than the other methods I've used to take off makeup such as liquid lipsticks and matte foundations so if you're a user of that type of makeup micellar water will be great! That being said if you don't use matte foundations I think you'll be fine without it if you don't already have it. I saw it had taken off the makeup quite instantly. I find it to be a little rough but it may just be the cotton pads I use. And I will start using it the way another Influenster has suggested, patting it on and then wiping it away after.
I don't think the shade range of this is all that great. but i do really like the formula and shade of the concealer i bought. my skin is on the dry side and this concealer was awesome! i'm not a makeup expert but i dont think this concealer is any less than full coverage. my skin didn't feel super dry when i applied a bit of powder to set it. it will move around tho if you don't set it. i will probably buy it again when i find it on sale again.
I am impressed with this palette! I bought it wanting to start using powder contour. Both the contour shade and the highlight are very natural, so if you're a beginner and starting out on contour and highlight I definitely recommend this product; although I don't like the brush, it's scratchy and awkward to use. I have the contour palette in medium and it works pretty great for me. At first I found it wasn't as pigmented as I wanted it to be and I was digging in the contour shade and I wasn't getting much out of it And the glow was barely showing. But I lightly scratched the surface and it's working amazing now.
I returned my mascara. It didn't hold the curl on my lashes. It actually took it away in seconds. I think this would be suited better with people who already have long Fuller and curly lashes just looking to give them an extra bump. I won't say this is a must have if you're more into drugstore makeup
This foundation is truly full coverage, and long lasting. Unfortunately I don't think this is the perfect foundation for my combination dry/oily skin. I think it is too drying and cakey looking for dry skin and can be broken apart by skin that's oily. Although I can try to make it work with the primers and sprays and powders I have, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that doesn't have normal skin without texture.
