I love Aveeno products. I haven't tried a bad Aveeno product yet. My fave is the daily moisturizing lotion with the green label. I buy that stuff in bulk at Costco whenever there's a coupon. It's only downfall is that it doesn't come with SPF. So I was so happy when I got a sample of this Absolutely Ageless Moisturizer with SPF 30. I love it. It's a bit thick and greasy, but not as much as regular sunscreen. I slather quite a bit on my face, so it takes a while to dry down. It also smells really good, like berries. I would totally buy this in the future, but with a good coupon.
I usually don't go for energy drinks or the traditional V8, but I got a bunch for free in different flavors and tried them out. They are surprisingly good. I thought I would be heavy on the veggie taste, but they taste like regular juice. A little bit lighter, and a slight aftertaste. The black cherry one is so hard to find. Every time I went into the store, they would have plenty of the pomegranate blueberry, peach mango, and orange pineapple ones. But none of the black cherry. And one time I saw the diet strawberry lemonade one, which I wanted to try except I don't drink diet. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with these and would buy them for a caffeine pick me up that seems to be healthier than other alternative energy drinks. The next ones I wanted to try are the fizzy ones, so I can lower my soda intake. Olay has always been one of my favorite brands overall for skincare. Their body wash is no exception. I've used their Ultra Moisture in the yellow cap for many years, alternating with Dove body wash. They're interchangeable for me b/c they're creamy and hydrating, perfect for wintertime. I usually buy the multi-packs at Costco and they're super affordable, about $12 for 3 of the 23.6 oz bottles. I stock up when the $3 coupon comes out. Over the summer they offered a 3 pack of their Fresh Outlast scents with the White Strawberry and Mint, Soothing Orchid, and Crisp Pear. The Strawberry one smelled the best to me. Just recently I discovered that Herbal Essences makes a shampoo and conditioner in White Strawberry and Mint too. I'm in love. If only I could find a lotion and body spray in the same scent, I'd be in strawberry heaven.
These are an easy and affordable gift. I bought this 9 pack from Costco for $8. That's $0.89 each. Add a bottle of wine, a greeting sticker, some curly ribbon.....boom, done. You have a fancy gift on a budget.
I love these chocolates. They come in several different flavors, but you can't go wrong with the original. I love how fancy looking they are in gold wrapping. Come holiday time, I pass out the 3 packs b/c they're already wrapped and I just stick a gift tag on the bottom. They're a good balance b/t not spending too much on a small holiday gift and giving something that's not super ordinary.
I love this body wash. I don't care if it's targeted towards guys or not. I love the crisp smell. I can't help smelling my skin afterwards. It cleans well and foams up nicely. I first tried it when Costco used to sell it in big 2 packs. Now I have to get my fix at the regular drugstores. The price is super affordable, around $3, but you can get it for less during sales and coupons. It's totally worth it.
I used up my sample of this creme and I think it was just okay. It has a definite aftershave or men's cologne scent that I don't find offensive, but I wouldn't seek out to use this creme b/c of the scent. I prefer fragrance-free. The texture is not as light as a thin lotion, but not as thick as a regular creme. It absorbs fast and moisturizes well. The only reason I wouldn't buy this product is b/c of the tin can it comes in. It's very inconvenient to open/close, and I don't like constantly dipping my fingers into something. I'd much rather use this in a pump bottle, or a small tube if I were to travel with it.
I'm not a huge caramel apple fan, but every once in a while I crave it. The apple and caramel flavor is a good change of pace from the usual fruit flavored lollipops. They last a long time and are best when not bit into b/c it's really sticky and tough to get off your teeth. The only downside is that I only see these lollipops around Halloween time, which is a shame b/c I tend to crave these when they're not selling them. I don't think these can only be enjoyed during Fall time.
