Well, I love coconut, and I love dark chocolate. It seems like a match made in heaven. But at the end of the day, there's still a peep involved, which I personally think are gross. My kiddo, who loves peeps, was turned off by the coconut flavor. Not something I would spend money on. I didn't even finish the package. I received a complimentary sample of these as part of the charm vox box campaign. PEEPS® Delights™ Coconut Flavored Marshmallow Dipped in Dark Chocolate
I received these in my Vita Vox Box and was really excited to try them. I don't consume anything with aspartame or any other sugar replacements, so I was happy to see that this product contained natural ingredients. The package said "tastes great!" So I expected a tasty fruit-flavored gummy that packed a punch.
When I opened the package, the smell that came out was not the sweet fruity goodness I expected, but an overly punget vitamin odor. I figured it might have been the packaging, but when I put them in my mouth, the taste was so horrible, I had to chase it with several glasses of water to get it all out of my mouth.
Not only did it not taste great, but the product did not live up to its energy-providing claims at all. Thanks but no thanks, I'll stick to my coffee.
I received this as part of my #TLCVoxBox and I was so excited! I love Neosporin and the protection it provides, but this is even better because you can spray it right on scrapes and cuts without having to touch the wound. When you've got a kiddo who's crying and screaming, the last thing they want is to have anything touching them, even if it will make them feel better. Now I have one in my purse and in every bag we take out, just in case!
When I first picked up this product from the store, I was trying to think of how relevant this product really is. I am not a calorie counter and I have no qualms about eating an entire block of cheese in one sitting. So the selling point that it's only 45 calories per slice doesn't resonate with me. I need a better benefit for paying $4/package for this product.
For me, that selling point was convenience. I love the convenience of sliced cheese for all sorts of things - from sandwiches to snacking, it is a convenient product to buy and use. But on my sandwich, I don't like anorexic cheese slices. This was TOO thin. I had to put twice as much on my sandwich to have a good cheese-to-meat ratio and harness the flavor of the cheese (the plus side: I really felt like I could enjoy the true flavor of the cheese with a thinner slice). If Sargento could find the happy medium between this slice and their regular slice, it would be perfect.
(note: I was the recipient of a complimentary package of this product as a member of the Sargento Ultra Vox Box campaign)
I travel a lot and this is the only airline that offers a reasonable fare when flying from DEN-PHX. The service is on par with other airlines, but the winning factor for me is not having to pay baggage fees. I also hear that they are adding TV and WiFi to some planes.
I recently flew JetBlue for the first time, and I had always heard it was a classy airline. Prior to flying, I checked out the normal things to avoid surprises at the check-in counter or on the flight. 1) They don't charge for carry-ons and your first bag flies free. 2) They still serve complimentary snacks, and not crap snacks either. They have a variety of chips and cracker snacks to choose from. 3) TV is available, and it's included in the cost of the flight. The only entertainment you have to pay for is a movie, should you want it. 4) Red-eye flights get complimentary wake-up service! In addition to your snacks, you get an eye mask and ear plugs to take a snooze, then they wake you with coffee or OJ and a warm cleansing towel so you can arrive at your destination feeling refreshed. All complimentary.
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this airline was to fly, as I was expecting the service and amenities to be on-par with similarly priced competitors.
One of the few American craft beers that still plays by the basic four rule of brewing ingredients (water, malt, hops and yeast), Samuel Adams is a treat for the senses. If you can get a hold of one, try to get your hands on the glass that Sam Adams has engineered for optimum taste enjoyment.
I was first introduced to TJ's when I lived in Seattle. One of my favorite things about this store is that they carry a lot of items that are unique to their store. The prices are great, and their return policy is simple: don't like it, bring it back. It makes for a never ending adventure of trying new stuff!
