I'm a creative lady who loves to try the latest and greatest and everything in between.
New experiences motivate me, and I love sharing the stuff I love with friends and family. I'm a daughter, sister, girlfriend, and friend to some great people.
A writer by trade. If you need me, you'll usually find me writing, discovering a new show on Netflix, reading a book, or in the kitchen.
This might be my favorite cleanser. Shake it up and put some in your hand. It definitely looks black, thanks to the charcoal, and when you apply it to your face you will feel it is self warming.
The reason I love this is because I have combination skin and this cleanser helps reduce the oil and give me a face that is not an oil slick so I can apply my makeup. It helps my face maintain less oil for a couple of days in combination with the rest of my skin care routine, and it is a valuable and indispensable part of that.
About a year ago, I was dealing with breakouts, red skin, some irritation, and annoyance. I saw these wipes in the store and noticed that they could be used for make up removal or as a facial cleanser. Because I have combination skin, I was a bit skeptical when considering using a product containing oil on my face. But the label said these were gentle, and would help soothe redness.
I came home from work, took my makeup off with these wipes. Surprisingly, all claims were true, and not only did it take my makeup off very gently, most of the redness had also gone.
I bought this product because I was looking for coverage with a formula that did not contain any silicone. When you apply it, you may notice a little bit of a weird smell, but it dissipates very fast. The formula is mostly sheer, but it is somewhat buildable. As long as you do not need major coverage, this could be a product for you. It lasts about 4-5 hours for me before being a little disturbed by the oil on my face. I find that the color range is extremely limited for this product, and some of the descriptions and items were folded into a different category.
This is a tinted moisturizer, so keep accurate expectations for what this product can do. It is very buildable when you apply it, which means you can get a very basic coverage in the places where you need it, and even cheer. However, if you need to build the coverage a little bit, this formula can handle that. I found that it lasted most of my work day, even in the summer. This product contains natural ingredients and has SPF so if you’re looking for something you can wear on the most casual days as well as your workdays, and have it stay put and look good, give this a try.
This felt fresh after brushing with it. I can’t say I noticed that much difference in the time it took to use the sample provided free to me to try and review. But it’s a good quality toothpaste that feels fresh and clean.
These remove makeup thoroughly and are an overall gentle product with added benefits. If you’re like me and have combination skin or skin prone to oil and breakouts, Neutrogena has your back with these wipes.
I bought this product after receiving a sample. The texture is great, it’s creamy and you can definitely tell it’s moisturizing. The exfoliation is effective without being too rough, and the moisture lasts. One of my favorite ways to use this is to rub it all over my legs to exfoliate the skin and moisturize them and instead of just rinsing I use the product on my legs to shave, then rinse. Another one of my favorite things about this body polish is that the formula is thick and moisturizing without being greasy and full of oil like a lot of scrubs are. This helps because I can use this, rinse it off, and not have a slippery oil slick at the bottom of my shower. I’ve already recommended this to two people and this has a place in my routine now.
I’m a big fan of lemon and I love these exclusive flavors every year, so it’s no surprise I had to try these Peeps. The flavor is sweet, lemony, but not too sweet and the white fudge dip on the bottom complements rather than adding too much sweetness. These might be the best of these limited Target exclusive flavors that I’ve tried. I’m not sure if it’s exactly “lemon sorbet” but they’re pleasantly tasty lemon flavored treats that I will miss when they’re gone.
I loved this. I bought a small travel sized can to try and will be buying a full size. Some mornings, especially in the winter, it's too cold to wash my hair, but I was too tired to do it at night. I tried this product to help tame my needs-washing hair, but also to use on dry hair to refresh my style and give me a little lift. I have long har that can be frizzy and somewhat fine, so volume and keeping things in place matter to me. It does well on refreshing things, and does it with a pleasant scent and treats my dark brown hair well too. I love that it's affordable too.
