While the gray is an odd color and the shape very different than I'm used to, this eyeliner is pretty creamy and smooth with okay pigmentation. There's minimal tugging and almost Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil color on the lower lash line, but I found it didn't work as well or as easily on the upper lash line. I don't really like the shape of the pencil, and I think the color is a mismatch for me. I'd be willing to try a different color, but this one is likely to end up in my Project Beauty Share box pretty quickly.
I received this in my Yes Oh Yas box. This is a loose powder that can be a touch clumpy and bit on the messy side. It's also NOT a bronzer. The shine this gives is more like a highlighter. As a highlighter, it can give a beautiful glow or go to a more blinding shine, depending on the type of brush used and how much applied. While it is very pretty, I'm considering giving it to one of my girls or adding it to my Project Beauty Share box: loose powder isn't my favorite thing to work with, and I have plenty of highlighters and bronzers that give me the color and glow I like, so I don't see myself reaching for this much, if at all.
Received this in my Ipsy. It's a soft, creamy blush that doesn't have any kickback at all. The color gives me a soft, warm glow, and the blush can be applied with a light hand or builds up nicely. It also plays well with other blushes, mixing beautifully when desired. I really like this.
This thick cream with blue specks spreads easily, and cools and tingles as it dries down. That cooling sensation continues after it’s rinsed off too. Radiance pad came up slightly discolored, but I’m wondering if that’s from the clean up the mask did: my pores did not look smaller, but they did look cleaned out. My skin felt amazing in the morning, and everything from moisturizer to foundation applied easier, and my skin just felt better. I really wish this wasn’t so expensive because it’s an amazing mask.
I like the brush on this, but the color is almost non-existent. The gel is stiffer than either the NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel or tarte Tarteist™ Brow Gel , but it’s not a stiff, plastering gel, so it works. I’m using this mostly to clean up my brows after I apply foundation, and to get gel in the brows. After that, I need to use a pencil to fill in and define. I like it, but not sure I’d purchase it at the price it’s listed at, especially since the Nyx and a pencil gives me the same look for less.
I received this in my Boxycharm. To be honest, I wanted the My Little Pony palette for all the colors. That said, the shadows are creamy with no kickback and very little, if any, fallout. They are blendable, play well with others, and are amazingly pigmented. I have fallen in love with this beautiful metallic palette that includes some awesome rose-gold colors. Amazing.
This thick clear gel spreads easily (so don't need a lot) and absorbs very quickly. It leaves my skin feeling smooth, though not necessarily moisturized. I don't find my skin feels more moisturized or glowing, but it also doesn't add too much under my regular moisturizer. While I'm not sure it really was improving anything (the sample was small), I do like that it has extra minerals for my skin, and I'd like to try it over a longer term than the sample allowed.
This is thinner than the overnight cream, but feels heavy and waxy until it absorbs (which takes awhile). Once it absorbs, my skin felt smooth and soft, but for daytime moisturizer, waiting a long time for it to absorb is a pain. Not something I'd purchase.
Smelled very good but leaves a tacky residue on my face without actually moisturizing it. Oils are a hard sell for me anyway because of my oily T-zone, so I can't fathom why I would want to add more to my face. But I gave it a try, and this is a no for me.
This is light on pigment (which may have been more the color choice and my expectations than a real problem with the pencil) but it works for me (I think I'd like to try a a true black to see how it does), but it works for me. Gives me some color without going overboard—more natural than dramatic. It is a bit dry and hard, and can break or crumble. The spoolie is small and firm and does a good job. Honestly, really surprised at how much I ended up liking this. I'll probably repurchase in the future.
