Review for Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil - 1 month, 1 week ago
Review for: Perversion (blackest black matte)
I received this product in my ipsy glam bag. It's funny, I love the brand, love the color, I absolute adore eyeliners, but I disliked this! The packaging is pretty neat at first glimpse, but then I noticed it's that of like a wooden pencil and not a twist up. A twist up is more ideal because when you sharpen or try to sharpen an eyeliner pencil you tend to waste some product every now and then. Especially because this is so soft and creamy, it's very hard to get it into a perfect point. Also, when you sharpen or try to sharpen a pencil, it leaves sharp wooden edges that can poke, tear, or damage your eye. Therefore, in this day and age, this packaging is not ideal for an eyeliner. The only other thing I dislike about the product is its too creamy, as in, when I try to use it, it goes all over the place and then it's hard to remove. When you initially first use it, it clumps too much on which smears everywhere. I also hate that it clumps up my lashes. Sadly, this product is a miss for me! ;( And I'm one of those people that can never have enough eyeliners.

Review for Beauty For Real New I-Line - 2 months, 1 week ago
Review for: Other
I received this in my ipsy glam bag in champagne buzz and I like it. You can never go wrong with a color like this, and I'm about to tell you why. Even if you don't use it to line your lash line, you can use this to highlight your tear duct to brighten up your eyes and look awake. This goes on easily and smoothly, and lasts all day. Beyond that to use it as a highlighter, you need to use a little more effort to get it there. If you try to blend it, it kind of disappears. I still like it, but I like it more so as an option to put it on my tear duct. I wouldn't use it as a highlighter. I don't think it would be amazing as a plain eyeliner because it takes a minute.

Review for Eyeko Black Magic Mascara Black - 2 months, 1 week ago
Review for: Black
I received this in my August glam bag. And first off, I wanted to say this is my first mascara in a glam bag! I was so happy to receive one! I love mascara, it's one of my go-to's for a quick day look. But any who, so I was a little caught off guard by the packaging of this product. It's different. So different that the first time I pulled the wand out of the tube, it looked like it had like barely anything on the bristles. Boy was I wrong. They made my puny lashes look like fake lashes. The length was intense! My best friend who has stunning natural lashes even complimented them. I am impressed. The downside is, I'm currently not into water proof mascaras because they ruin your eyelashes. It makes my eyelashes very brittle and dry. Therefore I have been steering clear of them. It is a once in a blue moon kind of a product, but not always. Certainly not an always.

I received this in this month's ipsy glam bag and I love it!! Firstly, it hold my curl and makes my eyelashes look fake for the full day! I had my mascara on and in perfect shape for over 12 hours. Six hours of which I was in a cramped car driving to Penn State main campus, a little over an hour I spent at the career fair, another cramped but this time humid spot, trying to sell myself to employers. I was looking for a new mascara, that made my lashes look great, lasted a whole day, and wasn't waterproof. Waterproof mascara is terribly damaging for eyelashes. I love the wand of this too, it separates my lashes from each other and doesn't clump them together. It also doesn't flake, but lastly, it's super easy to remove. It doesn't smear.  I'll update with a photo after my class before my dinner reservation.

Review for Nexxus Color Assure Conditioner for Colored Hair - 2 months, 2 weeks ago
I wanted to make sure I used this at least three times before I reviewed anything. Lately, I have been having a lot of problems with having an itchy scalp. No matter which store bought conditioner I used, nothing really helped it. I ended up going away on a short vacation at the beginning of August and took the free conditioner they gave out. It was about the only conditioner that was helping relieve the intense dryness my scalp all of a sudden had, until this conditioner. I would say the bottle looks great, like a genie in a bottle, but it makes my hair grease and oil up faster than before. Which means I have to shower my hair 3 times a week as compared to 2 times a week. Showering your hair too much is very unhealthy, but as a full time student part time worker, I can't be going around with greased up hair. Every 2 days this week I had to shower. On the other hand, natural hair oils is very healthy for your scalp and hair in helping it grow faster. But that's only if I have the time to sit at home and let it be. Smells great, but not a five star.

Review for Nexxus Color Assure Shampoo for Colored Hair - 2 months, 2 weeks ago
I received this product from Influenster for reviewing. As someone who has had their hair bleached 3 times within a short time span by a "professional" hairstylist abck in February, and then given a horrible choppy layered haircut I didn't ask for by another "professional" back in July, I really just want my hair to be healthy and to grow out. I asked for a specific style, and got none of it! The only good perk to my hair being bleached so many times, is that my sister helped me dye it to the color I actually wanted it to be. I can't trust "professionals" they talk too much, and don't focus on what's in front of them. The only good thing about my hair now is that it's soft, healthy, growing in, and that I could cosplay as Android 18 from Dragon Ball Z someone said to me. Which is really flattering considering how horrible I feel about my hair. I never know what to do with it anymore, it's always up in a bun, ponytail, or has waves. I noticed with other shampoos, they tend to miscolor my hair. Like give it orange hues, so I also used a lot of purple shampoo to strip that. I love this shampoo because it doesn't miscolor it, it smells nice, and the packaging is great. But a little doesn't go a long way. I try to lather a small handful into my hair, and I find that I need more. For some reason, it doesn't lather well, but it doesn't dry out my hair either. That's why I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

Review for Etude House - My Lash Serum 9g - 2 months, 2 weeks ago
I was kind of skeptic when I bought this serum to help out my eyelashes become healthy, strong, and long again. Due to stress, they were falling out and I was freaking out. I know this stuff helped, but it's not the only thing I used. I also started to take Stress B complex multivitamins, which not only helped with my nerves but they also have biotin in the ingredients. Biotin is for healthy hair, nails and skin. And Lord knows I needed my hair to also grow, grow, grow after my horrible choppy haircut. Waiting for my hair to grow out is nerve wrecking when you keep watching it, when you don't watch it it's like it grows out perfectly without you noticing it. That's how my eyelashes came out to be way better than they were. I started using this a month ago, and I'd say within 2 weeks they improved greatly! I bought both products mentioned through Amazon with the help of Amazon prime. Also while using this product I did not curl or touch my lashes. I did not use mascara. I tried to keep them as clean as possible. I also used Vaseline as a extra conditioner.
Review for Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer - 3 months, 2 weeks ago
Review for: Ivory
I walked into Sephora about a month back and was like, "Help, I have to interviews this week, back to back, and I look like a monster without any concealer. " At this point I had finished It Cosmetics concealer and Kat Von D. I wasn't sure if I wanted to use one of the 2 again, or try something new. They sat me in a chair and started to tell me about Bobbi Brown's new concealer. I've never had any Bobbi Brown cosmetics in my life, so I listened intently. "First off, you're not a monster," the girl said. "Secondly, there's his new concealer it's lightweight, full coverage, anti-aging, it fills in the hollows of your skin, and you don't even have to set it if you don't want to because it's long lasting." I was sold at lightweight, full coverage, and anti-aging. Sign me up! Because the concealer had a variety of shades, the girl who was helping me tried on three. I decided for a look that suit my skin tone more rather hang something lighter or brighter. Majority of the time,my makeup is just grab and go: concealer, eyelash serum, mascara, and eyebrows. With a lip product on the way. She warned me though, "You have to use this concealer with an under cream or it creases." No worries, because I just love using Origins Ginseng under eye cream! Note that even though in the end i chose the shade Ivory, because it suited my skin, all the shades are made 1 shade lighter than their corresponding foundation to make the choice easier for some. For me, I was looking for an exact fit. Also, this product was made with a collaboration of the beauty blender, as in, you'll get the best results from stippling it. The girl even told me that too, and it's true. The applicator is a bit on the downside; it's just a little weird. But I love it all none the less, new holy Grail :).

Review for Ciate London Wonderwand Gel-kohl Eyeliner - 4 months, 1 week ago
Review for: Black
I received this in my Ipsy glam bag for July. I love eyeliners, so for me to give it the rating it I gave it, there has to be a problem. First of all, it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. The idea is great, but it doesn't work. On top of that, this eyeliner is beyond messy. I really just wanted it on my lash line and a nice wing, the brush is too gentle to fling out even a dainty wing. It needs to be a little stiffer to get it going. But this liner won't even just stay put on my lash line, it smears into my water line when I don't want it to. I can't even put waterproof liquid liner on top of it because it still smears. And getting it off, it goes everywhere down your face. I'm very disappointed with this eyeliner considering Ciate London is a great brand! As I said, I love eyeliners. I practically collect eyeliners because you can never have enough eyeliners and mascara. I'm just very disappointed with this product. It's too messy for the summer; I can only imagine what the heat would do to it. The only great thing about it, is it's easy to apply. But that's it. I enjoy using pencil eyeliners to tight line my lash line before going in with my liquid liner. But I tried to use this as a whole. Never again, nope nope nope.

It's a cheap case! Do not do not do not do not!!!!! Listen to someone who says it comes with a bundle, regardless if it's a bundle or not you can get something better for the same price including all the necessities you need. I'm quite aggravated that a poor creature got swept up in my nephew's childish spoiled tendencies. My mom gave up money and bought him a hamster. He refuses to take care of it, and my sister (his mom) refuses to acknowledge it. Now it's my hamster! He knows I AM the owner. I'm just aggravated with this cage. The wiring is too big his paws slip through constantly. Everything is like super cheap plastic where the wheel won't attach itself to the wiring, because it's too wide of a gap, and keeps falling off. And my parents think it's okay to attach the wheel with a zip tie! The poor thing can't even use it so why bother! The stairs are crap plastic, he doesn't use them besides to just slide down them to the first floor. I don't even know if his water comes out half the time because he's always climbing up and trying to get into it. So so so so cheap!! There's so many other more decent cages, do not buy this one. By the way, my hamster is a Syrian hamster.
