Review for Johnson & Johnson Johnson's - Baby Oil Aloe Vera - 8 months, 2 weeks ago
I think I had an allergic reaction to this oil! (which never happens). I've used the regular Johnson's baby oil in the past both on my body and even on my face as a makeup remover. However, I recently bought the aloe vera version, and it did not go well at all. I unsuspectedly put this all over my body, arms, chest, and thought it was working well until my skin got really red, with small bumps on those areas within the next couple days. I immediately stopped using it, and knew it had to be the oil since that was the only new thing in my routine. It's been a couple weeks since and my skin is still dry on my arms and chest area- to the point where it was flaking almost like after a sun burn. I was trying to find a body oil cheaper than my Palmer's Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Body Oil but I will be sticking with that. I really wanted to like this product! But that was kind of scary.

Review for: Chocolate Brow'nie 030 more...
I picked this product up because I was always curious about eyebrow markers. Having used pomades, powders, pencils, and gels- I wanted something different from what I already used. That's where this marker came in.

I've been growing my brows out and no matter what products I use- my brows will look nice, but done up/fake-ish. This marker will give you a great NATURAL effect, that looks like you don't have anything on. It's also perfect for when you don't have a full face of makeup on, or prefer a lighter look.

The "feathery" brow look is in and this product can help you achieve that. It doesn't have the chalkiness of other products, and can create "hair strokes" that look legit, depending on how you apply it. I only wish it lasted longer- but like any marker, it seems to run out pretty fast. This product has converted me to an eyebrow marker believer! I will definitely try this again. I kept it in my makeup bag so even when I didn't have anything else on, it didn't stand out as fake "insta brows", but blended nicely.

Review for NYX Lip Lingerie - 8 months, 2 weeks ago

The NYX Lip Lingeries make great dupes for higher end liquid lipsticks! They start off with a creamy/mousse kind of consistency which helps get an opaque and even application, and then dry fully matte but not as overly drying as other liquid lipsticks. They come in a great variety of shades (24 colors when I last checked) that all tend to be nudes- so you'll find a color you'll like for everyday! They come in brown, pink, and peach tones- with even some soft reds and stone/ lavender gray colors as well. Definitely try them out- they're very affordable at $7 as well

Review for Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula FlipBalms - 8 months, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
This is my favorite lip balm at the moment! You may be familiar with a very popular lip balm of a similar shape (EOS)- but as cute as that balm is, it really does not hydrate at all, nor are the effects long lasting. This balm however, really does both! It feels great on the lips, buttery and smooth, and with just a touch of shine, as opposed to the waxy feel of EOS. I havn't really seen much about this lip balm- but it is AMAZING. Super underrated. Give this a try! I have the pink one (Juicy Watermelon) and it is refreshing, and sweet on the lips too. I love that you flip to apply, and that it almost looks like a rose. Will definitely be repurchasing once this is done. It's always in my bag and I love reapplying it throughout the day  :)

Review for Kat Von D Sinner Eau de Parfum - 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
Wow! Absolutely fell in love with this fragrance when I first smelled it. This scent in particular, sinner, is such a lovely kind of "warm" scent. More sweet, but deep tones as opposed to floral, which I tend to prefer. This is a more memorable perfume, that you pay attention to, and demands to be recognized but still in a subtle way. I would compare it to the Elizabeth & James Nirvana fragrance. It's the kind of fragrance that is deeper, and "sensual", more mysterious and grown up than a girly flowery, candy, or "clean" scent. Not sure of the tones but think more amber and vanilla. I think it's perfect for any weather really, but I cant wait to buy a bigger size for the winter/fall.
Review for Palmers Cocoa Butter Lip Balm SPF #15 (Pack of 12) # 4220 - 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
Picked this guy up at a Dollar Tree by me because, why not? Well, after trying it out I'm glad to say this balm is amazing! Like anything from the Palmer's brand, it's smooth, buttery and moisturizing like no other! I've carried it in my purse this entire week and keep reapplying at work and throughout the day. It's addicting! Like the Chance the Rapper song, "cocoa butter kisses" ... this product can give you exactly that. I've found that my lips tingle a bit when I apply, but nothing too bad, almost in a nice way.

Review for Nivea Essential Lip Balm - 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
By far one of the most hydrating lip balms that ACTUALLY does it's job! I've tried countless balms and chapsticks, because aside from liking to try new things, lip balm is just like bobby pins and hair ties- they magically disappear! Safe to say once I tried this, I was blown away. The balm literally melts onto your lips and coats it in the most moisturizing layer that actually absorbs down instead of feeling waxy on the surface. Like a drink of water or moisture shot to your lips, I'll try other lip balms but go back to this always. One of my favs!

Review for MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation - 9 months, 3 weeks ago

Review for: NC20 more...
I bought this product last summer because I really wanted a nice foundation for hot weather. At first, I didn't use it much (mostly because I have like 15 foundations at any given time) but the more I've used it, the more I love it! Recently, I've used this by itself and it gives me the perfect coverage without feeling cakey like other MAC foundations. I apply it with a beauty blender and it blends like a dream. You don't need to use a lot for full face coverage! I have oily skin so I almost always have to set my face with powder but with this foundation, you don't even have to! It'll maintain a nice, natural, somewhat dewy skin-finish throughout the day which is impressive for not setting it. It's quick and easy to use, and definitely build-able. I love that it has SPF and claims to be waterproof. Will be reaching for this more often!

Review for: Neutralizer more...
Honestly my favorite concealer, period. Definitely from the drugstore, but even from higher end products! This concealer is the perfect consistency- it's not so thick that it creases, but not so thin that it doesn't cover or sink into dry spots or lines. It really gives you that airbrushed under eye area that no other product really does for me. It's literally like having a skin filter on! I like the neutralizer color on it's own it seems to just brighten the area and work with my skin tone. Started using this after my best friend introduced me to it! I just wish I didn't go through them so quickly, this is a twist to apply product and I have to repurchase them often- but it's worth it.

Review for Dickinson’s Enhanced Witch Hazel Hydrating Toner - 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
I first was introduced to using toner as a way to combat breakouts and balance the skin, keeping acne at bay. I had always used the Clean&Clear toner which worked well for when my skin was really going through it, but it was really drying and harsh. Now that my skin has more or less cleaned up, I picked this up as an alternative and boy am I obsessed! Even after washing your face with cleanser, when you use a toner and see the dirt that comes off your face you will be #shocked. This toner really gives you a deep clean, tightens the skin (which I like), and prepares you to apply moisturizer. I use this only at night, and it does still give me a tingling sensation, but its manageable. A little trick I do is fan myself after using this to cool my skin down a little. I'm glad I bought this!
