I really wanted to love this product. I love me some Urban Decay products and this, for the most part, was exactly what I wanted in daily coverage. It's NOT a foundation - so don't expect crazy coverage that hides everything - and is fantastic for daily wear. In my opinion, this product has a great consistency and feeling on the skin. It's light, looks natural, and is SO easy to apply.
However, I've had two major issues with this since using it. As someone with dry skin, this wasn't my best friend. While it looked great immediately after application, I noticed that it started my really dry areas started showing through after an hour of wear. Even with primer, concealer, and using as little product as possible, my skin looked dried out and flaky in some spots. I've never really had this problem with other tinted moisturizers, BB creams, or foundations.
I also have had several breakouts in areas where I have NEVER broken out before. Seeing as nothing else in my daily routine has changed and no other new products have been introduce, I can comfortably say these breakouts was caused from using this. I do have somewhat sensitive skin, but it typically holds up well enough to new products and I've never seen more than 1-2 small spots appear after trying a new product. I also make a strong effort to take care of my skin and keep it clean, so to have reacted so poorly to this was really surprising. Others seem to not have as much of a problem as I have with this, so it's possible that maybe I just got a bad batch, but I would be wary of this if you're someone that has sensitive skin.
I'm giving this three stars because I really love the brand, the feeling and consistency of this product, and the amount of coverage it provides, but I won't be purchasing this again as the two problems I have this this were substantially large ones that have occurred multiple times.
After discovering my previous moisturizer was no longer doing its job and was making my face feel oily, I decided to try this product after having a few people recommend it. I also had started using the oil-free acne face wash from Neutrogena, so I figured this would compliment it nicely.
I feel that this has been a pretty good addition to my skin care routine and have noticed a good reaction from my skin. I love the scent of this and really love that this is a thin, light-weight moisturizer. This may not be a "pro" for some, but my face easily feels overwhelmed and oily with heavy creams, so this product is well-suited for my skin type. This also clears up any small break-outs I have pretty quickly.
The only downfall this product does have is that since it's an acne combatting moisturizer, it actually simultaneously dries the skin out somewhat (counter-intuitive, but it is both hydrating and de-hydrating). I have pretty dry skin and this can be too intense for me sometimes, which causes some redness and irritation. However, I get around this as I also use a sunscreen as part of my daily routine. That seems to address the drying I periodically experience. I'm still searching for the perfect moisturizer, but I really do like this product and will most likely use it again.
I really enjoy using this product and have found it to be very beneficial for my skin. I moved a few months ago and my skin reacted very poorly to its new environment. I never really break out (minus a hormonal zit once a month) or have any other issues, but I was breaking out constantly and having several other problems with my skin. After giving it some time and trying to ride it out, my old products just couldn't combat it and were no longer doing their job.
I tried this after seeing several people mentioned that their dermatologists recommended this and figured it wouldn't be a big loss if it wasn't a miracle product for me. My skin did take about a week to adjust to the product and I noticed some redness and added dryness in my skin during the first few days of use, but I was so pleased with how things went after that. I've been clear ever since and notice that my skin feels more consistent, softer, and glows more now. I've been using this for a few months, now, and am still continuing to see improvements. I will note that I do have dry skin and this can emphasize the dryness, but this is easily combatted with use of a daily moisturizer and sunscreen.
Personally, I LOVE this product. After moving and having my skin react poorly to a new environment, I decided to try this after hearing so many people rave about it.
It. did. not. disappoint.
I was breaking out frequently, new wrinkles were showing up, and my skin felt both dry and oily all the time before adding this to my routine. Within a week, my skin was looking and feeling infinitely better. Not only do I love how much more hydrated and clean my skin feels, but the ease of using this product can't be beat. Saturate a cotton pad, wipe, and you're good to go!
The only "con" that others have listed is the makeup removing ability. While I will admit that this struggles to take mascara off (primarily waterproof), I personally don't mind and just use an oil-based makeup wipe to remove my eye makeup. I follow this with the micellar water to remove the oil and the rest of my makeup - which works like a charm. I never have to use more than two cotton pads to get all of my makeup off.
At the end of the day, this is a must-have product for me that I won't be deviating from any time soon. It's been a game-changer for me and my dry skin. I'd highly recommend this for people who have similar skin types, especially those with sensitive skin.
I was really intrigued by this product. I've never heard of a foam conditioner, so I was really looking forward to giving this a shot. Like the shampoo that compliments this conditioner, it had a great smell and I loved that a little really went a long way.
However, as much as I liked the concept of this, it just wasn't the best conditioner for my hair type. It didn't restore hydration to my hair very well after using its matching shampoo and even though a little amount of product went a long way, there was an unforgiving balance if too much product was used. There were a couple times where my hair and roots were very weighted down by the foam and made oily. While my hair did have some shine to it, it lost some volume from the product being too heavy, which left my hair looking very flat.
Contrastingly, the product didn't always sink into my on other occasions, which then left my hair feeling kind of dry and stiff. I just didn't seem to have a lot of consistency while using this conditioner and it seemed to be the wrong conditioner for my hair type. I may recommend this to some people who have thicker or more voluminous hair that can hold this product, but I would not recommend this to someone with hair similar to mine and, unfortunately, I won't be using this again.
Even though this shampoo had a great scent and consistency, it wasn't the best for my type of hair.
As someone who has very fine, straight hair, I found this product to be a little too heavy for my hair and it stripped too much oil out of my hair. I did have a fair amount of shine and my hair smelled great throughout the day, but by the end of the day, my hair felt dried out and my roots were more oily than I'd like after less than 24 hours. I try to shampoo every other day and that just wasn't possible for me with this particular product. This might be better suited for someone with more hair or with thicker hair, but I wouldn't recommend it for the ladies out there with hair like mine.
While the flavor of this was decent, the powdery texture of this flavor totally ruined the ice cream for me and really lacked the “chip” aspect mentioned in the title. I was expecting a creamier ice cream with texture from the chips, not an ice cream that tasted like it was protein powder based. If you really are looking for a chocolate ice cream substitute, this wouldn’t be what I would recommend, but it’s better than other alternatives I’ve tried previously.
This is the best Halo Top flavor I’ve tried thus far and I couldn’t believe that this ice cream was “healthy” after taking my first bite. It tastes just like iced oatmeal cookies, but in ice cream form. It’s so full of flavor, incredibly smooth and creamy, and the bits of oatmeal here and there offer just the right amount of texture. The only way this could get better is with a drizzle of melted peanut butter on top. This is a must have for your freezer!
This is an absolute must-have in your kitchen if you're busy and don't have a ton of time to cook. 90 seconds in the microwave and you have a healthy side dish at your disposal! These are seasoned well and I typically don't need to add any salt or additional spices, too. Overall, this is the epitome of health meeting convenience!
