I picked up the Wella Colorcharm permanent liquid color in the shade 7WV - Nutmeg from my local Sally Beauty store. I also grabbed a 10 volume developer because I was just depositing color on color. This was my second time using this formula as I was pretty happy with how it turned out the first time.I colored it in December 2023 and again about 7 weeks later in February 2024.I had about an inch and 1/2 of root growth since last coloring it in December.Be sure to do a patch test first to check for any possible allergic reactions.Follow the instructions for mixing and processing time. For my needs, I mixed the 10 volume developer in with the entire contents of the Wella colorcharm 7WV Nutmeg color. The odor is a bit strong for me, so I generally open a window for ventilation. The liquid color mixes well with the developer. I used the brush and bowl method for coloring my hair. I start at the roots where the roots/color have grown out. I place the color at the roots around the outer edge of my entire head.Then I begin saturating the mid shaft of my hair strands and then pulling the color through to the ends lastly. I have fine, thinning, shoulder-length hair. Once I completed the application, I processed it for about 40 minutes. Once that was completed I rinsed, applied shampoo and conditioner. .The color is a bit drier once applied, so just be sure that your hair is thoroughly saturated. Coloring my hair is always a bit damaging which is why I follow it up with a good, deep condition mask. I like the color because it provides a pretty even hair color result, and the color description is rather accurate on the product box. The picture of me is after color,rinse and air drying of my hair. I am pretty happy with this color, and I will continue using it until I want to switch up to a different shade or tone.

I used the wells color charm in T18 lightest ash blonde to tone my brassiness out of my highlights and maybe I didn't leave it in long enough but I feel like it made my hair more brassy. I've heard great things about Wells color charm toners but I honestly never get good results with it. It does have a great shade range and is easy to use. Maybe just me but the few times I've tried it I hated the results.

It didn’t have the option for t14 but that’s my go to in the summer when I want a nice platinum blonde and it has never failed! Works so great and it smells nice too. Easy to use.
