absolutely love our diaper genie! it helps us keep with diaper disposals! holds in the smell of stinky diapers too! it’s definitely a must have especially for first time parents!

So I had this one and I have the metal one currently and in my opinion they both kind of suck . You can most definitely smell the diapers in both of them . The metal one is more costly too for no reason . Also it says it can hold so many diapers but we pretty much having to empty the genie every other day . I wouldn’t recommend this or ever buy again

While this does help to keep the smell at nasty, I think you can find regular trash bins with a good deal that do the same thing. Then you can continue to use it after your child is out of dishes. You also wouldn't need to buy the special bags.
