I love Sephora- if for no other reason that they keep their fragrance far from the entrance and make up so I don't have to deal with it. I don't love the new format, making the sample application sticks harder to find though - it makes it more necessary to talk to their staff who aren't very approachable or friendly.
I really only use Tinder when I'm travelling... it's easy to find a coffee date in the town I'm in. However - at home I find it really difficult to use because I have much higher standards for someone I'd actually like to date, and Tinder is just way too shallow to actually feel like it could lead to a connection.
Much easier to talk with people on OKC than some of the other sites.... but there's a lot of browsing going on, rather than people really looking to connect. Much easier to get a sense of someone in advance than some of the other sites with less of a profile.
I got a sample of CoverGirl's Intensify Me! eyeliner in sapphire - a medium-dark blue from BzzAgent....
The colour is great - it works for the high-colour looks I'm trying right now, but I can also see mixing it with a darker shadow for a more subtle look. The formula is good - it lasts a really long time (but came off easily with my favourite makeup remover). The brush is great for either getting a thick or thin line, but it doesn't have the right taper for a good cats-eye flick. #gotItFree #CoverGirl #CGsecretWeapon
I got some free samples of CoverGirl products from BzzAgent - My thoughts on the mascara... it lasts well, doesn't flake, BUT... I don't like the brush. I think for my shorter lashes, the unique brush shape doesn't help me really get in, and I find the ball-end sort of gets in the way when NOT aiming at targeting individual lashes. However, the ball IS great at getting into the edges of my eyes. If I had an old full-sized mascara at the end of it's life, I'd probably swap out the brushes and use this formula with a different, more traditional brush.
Nice lipstick, very creamy. The scent is lovely - it smells like creme brule, and the packaging is just COOL... But.. it doesn't last. The creamy consistency has a lot of transfer. I'd recommend the Nyx lipstick pencils for a longer-lasting, equally as intense colour.
Test these out before purchasing... some of the colours are WAY longer lasting than others. In my 'swatching' (done at Sephora) the white and copper flaked off very easily, while the bright and dark blue went the distance. I ended up getting the dark blue, though I want to swatch-test the greens next.
This is probably my favourite from this line from Campbell's. Good flavour, just enough spice to make it interesting. My housemate finds it a bit too spicy. My only complaint is that as-is, it's barely enough for two people, which makes it a bit on the higher-cost end of things.
I like others in this line... but don't care for this one. I don't like a lot of butternut squash dishes (ravioli, etc) and this one is no different. If you like that flavour, this one has a lot of it. I wouldn't buy this one again, though my housemate loves it and has.
