If the choice is between your child having a plain piece of toast for breakfast- or having a slice with a bit of this on it- Nutella is a better bet. While it is NOT a low-fat item, it is a bit better than, say, a chocolate bar or something like that. It is a decent alternative when you have a sweet tooth- but should be thought of like peanut butter for caloric content.
Alaina A. asked, “How can something so chocolatey be healthy??..... I don't buy it!”
I have only tried the vanilla- but I really like it! It's a bit thinner taste than, say, skim milk, but is absolutely TERRIFIC in any kind of cereal. I'm not sure I'd want to cook with the original as the fat/water content would be so different, but I think my kids wouldn't notice the difference in the chocolate at all.
Irene C. asked, “Is the taste for this milk really good ? ”
While I do enjoy this product, we go through way too much milk in our home to justify paying the price for only Almond milk. This is more of an every so often purchase, though I do like that it is completely shelf stable.
Amanda M. asked, “FOR THOSE WHO DRINK THIS WOULD YOU OR HAVE YOU COMPLETLY CHANGE TO DRINKING THIS VS. YOUR REGULAR MILK????”
