Review for AmLactin 12 % Moisturizing Lotion - 567 g / 20 oz - 1 year, 4 months ago
Review for: AmLactin 12 % Moisturizing Lotion - 567 g / 20 oz more...
Amlactin is incredibly moisturizing. I apply it twice a day, and I am never without smooth, soft skin. That being said, I achieve equally, if not more so, smooth, silky skin with natural, cheaper alternatives like coconut oil. One reason people cite for avoiding oils for total body moisture is the lingering stickiness and slippery texture. Neither of these negative attributes last for more than two minutes with a decent quality olive/coconut oil, so I would still recommend them above Amlactin for moisturizing since Amlactin has an equally undesirable residue that takes much longer to dissipate. This lotion feels almost like sticky skin during a humid jog after a storm. it goes away, but it's still not ideal.

I took a star off of Amlactin because I have noted no exfoliation for the past six months I've been using it, and that was one of the main reasons I bought it. I'm a bit confused because my skin exfoliates quite obviously with similar products.

Review for Evol Butternut Squash & Sage Ravioli - 1 year, 6 months ago
I   bought the large bagged version of this at Publix. The ravioli itself is amazing. Both the pasta and the filling are perfectly textured, and the filling is a perfect mix of cheese, squash, and harmonious spices that remind me of Autumn. The kale and tomato filled sauce, however, is lackluster. I would have preferred if the ravioli was packaged without the pre-made "sauce", if it even deserves to be referred to as such, allowing consumers to add their own additional flavors.
Review for Buitoni All Natural Four Cheese Ravioli - 1 year, 7 months ago
Super confused by all the five star reviews. This is not superb by any means, and I do not consider myself a picky eater. The cheese is chewy and dense, though I did enjoy the pasta component. I paired it with Mezzetta's roasted garlic & onion pasta sauce, topped with grated parmesan. If you want cheese ravioli, I highly recommend Kirkland's 5 cheese at Costco. Amazing in comparison.
Review for MaxFactor Masterpiece Max Regular Mascara Velvet Black - 1 year, 10 months ago
This has become my favorite mascara of all time. I've tried drugstore favourites like Covergirl Lashblast and Maybelline Great Lash (NOT AMERICA"S FAVORITE MASCARA. GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT MAYBELLINE. YOU"RE BASICALLY DONALD TRUMP WITH THAT OUTLANDISH LIE. NO ONE LIKES MAYBELLINE GREAT LASH EXCEPT GRANDMOTHERS. THE ONLY REASON PEOPLE BUY IT IS BECAUSE ITS LIKE 3 DOLLARS).....and high end brands like Dior Showcase and everyone's holy grail Better than s3x mascara by too faced cosmetics.. But this takes the strawberry shortcake.

honestly, i truly hate maybelline's greatlash.

ok thanks for letting me get that out of my system. anyway...

This mascara is one of the first Influenster products I've repurchased with my own funds. I tell everyone about it. The volume is great. The length is great. But what truly makes me love this formula is that I can build and build and build forever without it beginning to look like a mess. MY lashes retain definition and look some semblance of natural.

It's not just that it doesn't clump. A lot of mascara can claim that. It's that above not clumping, the lashes retain a smooth, defined, pointed look. A lot of brands are like "our formula doesn't clump"--and its true; their formulas don't clump. But they still look very mascara-y. u kno what i mean.

10 thumbs up. im a lifelong customer. my mom asked me if i was wearing falsies , so i am pumped

Review for Batiste™ Dry Shampoo - 1 year, 11 months ago
If you are a lazy little nasty like me and have days where you know it is absolutely time to wash your hair, but you would rather do things like see if your single chin hair has returned or lie naked on your bed after a shower and ask yourself why you have accomplished less in your life than some 8 year olds, this is the product for you.

Don't wash your hair. You watch that Netflix. Spray this instead, but not too liberally as it can leave a tint on dark locks. Then, smell your refreshed hair and continue to do nothing with your life in peace. Repeat as needed. (but probably don't repeat too much because you should wash your hair at some point u nasty.)

Review for Hormel Black Label Bacon Maple - 1 year, 11 months ago
I can't say this is the best grocery store purchased bacon I have ever eaten, but it more than hits the spot. The maple flavour is mild and, had I not been the one who purchased it, I likely would not have identified it as maple flavoured.

I'm inclined to think there is a factory-rooted discrepancy in how much maple flavor each package of bacon has, because I see reviews describing the maple flavor as underwhelming, (like me), and others who find it greatly influences the taste of the bacon.

No matter; I love it just as it is and would recommend it to anyone looking for a thickly sliced bacon that cooks well.
I wish it were spicier and the Gouda just slightly superior in texture, but overall I love this for light snacking between meals. It is super high it fat, so it's definitely not for regular consumption, but it's pretty tasty. I think a version of this with seasoned toast rounds would be phenomenal
I really enjoy this burrito. It reminds me of my favourite ginger beef stir fry recipe, but while it is rich in flavour, it is not nearly my favourite preferred earth product.

Look how quickly it is prepared and how healthy it is.
This mask goes on very easily. I only used a thin coat and can easily get a second use out of it. The question is, however, do I want to?

The mask left my skin feeling fresh, but not enough to tolerate the crazy burning sensation I got upon applying it. I exfoliated before using the product, but not very roughly. Unsure if that has anything to do with it. I know stinging can be a normal component of beauty products, even if it's a bit of a red flag, so I battled through the pain. (It wasn't horrible.)

I liked the way my skin looked, but I didn't think it was much better than just washing my face with a quality cleanser and doing a honey mask. Not worth the pain.

Edit: I just went to reexamine my face and I don't have pores. Which is like, not a thing for me, so I am quite excited about that. But I still can't give it five stars because umm, painm yo. Why it gotta burn like this??? I was given a face mask but a ziploc of fire ants to unload on my face.
