I bought this because I was head over heels in love with the smell of the Huile Prodigieuse and the Crème Prodigieuse and wanted to smell like it all the time. :-) It makes me think of Paris every time I wear it and i spritz my scarves with a little bit.
Y'all. This oil. It smells amazing, and soaks into your skin to nourish and soothe it instantly. I got my first one as a trial size in a gift set, and have since purchased a full size spray bottle. It smells so amazing that I purchased the perfume that smells like it as well. French women use it on their skin and on hair to tame flyaways. A little goes a long way and makes you smell delicious to boot.
I love my BeautyCon Box! I started out with other subscription boxes, but grew out of them. I love the full-size products (it BEYOND pays for itself with the products included), the curation by different YouTube and other beauty gurus, and the fun content. I've discovered some great products this way that I have repurchased. I don't feel that way about the other boxes I've gotten in the past. This is the one I'm sticking with and it's my absolute favorite!
My dogs LOVE their BarkBox! When it comes in they know it's for them, so we let them open it. No, really! We cut the tape, and our blue miniature poodle Bijou noses it open. Leeloo (our apricot miniature poodle) goes straight for the toys , grabs one, and runs off to inspect it. Bijou is on treat duty. She checks them out, smells them, and then points to the one she wants opened first. Her furdad and I enjoy the themes - we giggle over the puns in the informational insert - and the quality of the toys and treats. Our little Divas are spoiled, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
I started out getting these because I was SO sick of paying ridiculous prices for pink razors. Even the executive blades (the most expensive) are much cheaper than so-called women's razors. Then, my husband got in on the action and can't live without the shave butter and he also uses the executive blades. We will be customers for as long as this company is around and I definitely recommend it!
I didn't think Tarte could improve over the first tartelette palette, but they did. I love this one even more. Plus the few metallic/shimmer shades are very welcome for a pop of dimension on the lid. The colors blend well, last a long time (but i always recommend an eye shadow primer), and are flattering for a wide range of skin tones. I've used this on a bride and it turned out smashingly. It also smells faintly of vanilla, and I always enjoy that. I will definitely repurchase for myself and my kit.
Review for: tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette more...
This palette is pretty much perfect. Tarte's mattes blend so amazingly. Great for an office environment, and the color groupings in rows are fail-proof so you don't have to think about what colors to put together for a great look. I have this and the tartelette 2 in bloom and use both of them all the time. I will definitely purchase again when it is used up, and also for my MUA kit!
The classic. How can you go wrong? Perfectly dry and the bubbles add to the unbearable lightness of being that comes with enjoying champagne. My first bottle was in Paris four years ago, which we bought from a wine shop on our street. I've enjoyed many more since, and every bottle is a joy and a way to make you feel special.
Versatile, convenient for travel (it just went with me to Paris), and has the right tone for contouring - cool shades: not bronzey or orange. Goes on smoothly and blends easily with a brush. I'm probably never going to give up my contouring routine because of my round face, so I hope this product stays around! I would definitely recommend this to anyone - but especially someone on a budget or just starting out with makeup, because you don't want to drop big bucks on a palette you aren't sure how to use. I do wish they had a palette for fairer skin, but for $6, I'm not complaining too much.
