It’s ok. Got the job done. I was debating between this one (plum orchid) and another brand and went with this one. It was $5 more and I figured that meant it was of higher quality, but tbh I’m not that impressed. First of all, there are better ones on the market that aren’t so damaging to your hair bc yes, this does have ammonia and yes, it is kinda stinky. They put something in the box to try to mask it that you add to the developer mixer, but you can still smell it. And as you can see in the picture, in the front along my hairline the color didn’t take. I have no idea why. All in all, it’s an ok product, but I think you could go for something cheaper and healthier for the same results.

I love the way it turned out! It is a beautiful deep purple color. And it is silky soft. In the sunshine it radiates several shades of purple naturally, and I can't get over the shine and the softness of the hair. I get compliments all the time from people that think that it's a salon shade. That's the one great thing I find from L'Oreal hair color, it always seems to give me a super super Sheen to the color. As long as I use shampoos that are for color treated hair I'm able to get a good 4 to 6 weeks of color, that is until the grays start coming in, then I need to recolor again. It is such a gorgeous color I plan on doing the same color once again.

I use two boxes because I do have a lot of hair. And I definitely love the results I was trying to cover my gray hair and this works for me the color is beautiful and definitely will be buying this product again
