Review for: real techniques Prep + Prime Set more...
I use this set ALL THE TIME!!! Literally my favorite set and on my "cant-live-without" list. The dual-sided orange applicator stick has many uses. It is made of a sturdy yet somewhat flexible plastic. I use mine to scoop my skincare products out of their jars, so I'm not sticking my fingers all up in there, contaminating the jar of expensive product! When finished, I simply wipe with a cotton pad soaked in alcohol to disinfect. This would be great at getting the last of your foundation, or even gently pushing cuticles back in a pinch. Probably my most favorite piece in the kit! I use the flat foundation brush to apply my clay masks! Works perfectly and when I'm done, I rinse with warm water and soap, and hang upside down to dry. Would also be a great foundation brush to apply foundation to the face, then, blend out with the AMAZING beauty sponge included here! This sponge is SO good. I've never tried a Beauty Blender so I'm not sure how it compares, but I've heard it definitely is up there with the Beauty Blender in performance. And when you're done using the sponge, place it in the little holder that comes in this kit, so it's not rolling all over your vanity! Last, but certainly not least, the metal ball applicator. The ball is very high quality. This applicator just feels like a quality item and has a good weight to it. The metal ball does not roll, but stays stationary. I use mine to depuff my under-eye area after applying my eye cream! The cool metal of the ball feels so amazing! Want extra cooling/depuffing action? Stick it in a baggie in the freezer or fridge! Would also be great to hold over an inflamed pimple to reduce swelling, or reduce large pores. Again, just pop in the freezer and use! This set is worth every single penny. I would buy it over and over again. I pray Real Techniques continues to make this amazing set. I would absolutely recommend it! Go! Buy this!! Now! Run!!!

Review for Olay Daily Facials Deep Cleansing Cloths Oily/Combination - 2 months, 1 week ago
I used to use Olay Daily Facials Deep Cleansing Cloths religiously before I changed my skincare routine to accommodate my ever changing skin. These facial cleansing cloths were always wonderful! They come dry in a plastic tub (or you can purchase these refill packs). To use them, just run under warm water and work up the rich lather. They remove makeup very well, provide gentle exfoliation, and deep cleansing. I reccomend using cleansing cloths over just a cleanser and your hands anyway, because you will just get a deeper, better clean result. Try these out! They come in different scents/formulas to suit your face' s specific needs. You wont be disappointed.
Review for Johnson's® Soothing Vapor Bath - 2 months, 1 week ago
We have used Johnson's Soothing Vapor Bath for many years with great, soothing results! When my kids are sick and congested, I add two capfuls of Vapor Bath to the tub and let the soothing vapors safely decongest my little ones' noses. I also wash them with the vapor bath. My oldest is 10 now, and she still asks for a Vapor Bath when she is congested. It really helps, and is very soothing. I would definitely recommend this product.
Review for Herbal Essences Bourbon Manuka Honey Conditioner - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
I received this product from Influenster for free in exchange for my review. This conditioner is wonderful! Its thick texture coats wet hair and rinsed clean leaving my hair so soft, hydrated and nourished. The smell is heavenly! Manuka honey with a woody undertone. I couldn't stop smelling and touching my hair! I have thick, color-treated, straight hair with dry itchy scalp. This conditioner helped sooth my dry scalp. Herbal Essences has become a trusted brand over the years and they keep on improving. I would definitely recommend...and don't forget to pick up the matching shampoo for maximum benefits! #HerbalEssences #influenster #Biorenewal #igotitfree #contest

Review for Herbal Essences Bourbon Manuka Honey Shampoo - 9 months, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
I received this product from Influenster for free in exchange for my review. Upon opening the bottle of shampoo, the intoxicating scent of Manuka honey and a slight woody undertone was evident. This shampoo lathers nicely even without the use of sulfates, which is important to me, as I am very sensitive to SLS. This shampoo did not strip my hair color, which is also important to me. My hair felt silky soft and smelled heavenly. My dry, itchy scalp improved as well. Herbal Essences is a brand which I have come to trust over the years, and they keep getting better! I would definitely recommend. I have thick, color-treated, straight hair and suffer dry, itchy scalp. This shampoo is grey for my needs. #HerbalEssences #contest #igotitfree #influenster #biorenewal

Review for Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette - 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette is one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes. Highly pigmented pressed pigments. Just lightly tapping into the pan will give you amazing color payoff. There is a decent amount of fallout, so be sure to use a light hand and a large, fluffy brush to sweep away fallout from under eye area and you'll be fine. These pigments blend effortlessly creating a beautiful professional look with minimal effort. The color lasts all day for me. I always use an eyeshadow primer though. Packaging is simply gorgeous. It is a sturdy, black lacquered cardboard packaging on the inside with a velvety soft rose pink cover around the outside. A generous mirror is on the inside top flip-up lid. Magnetic closure. The palette also comes with a dual-sided eyeshadow brush. One side is a medium-sized fluffy crease brush, the other side is a flat shader brush. The brush does shed, and is a bit scratchy, so I would recommend using your own brushes. I would 100% recommend the Modern Renaissance palette. You will not be disappointed.

Review for Curves Fitness - 9 months, 3 weeks ago
I absolutely LOVED Curves Fitness when I was a member. Curves is strictly for women. It is a circuit training fitness center that has a machine at each station. When you sign up, an employee will take your measurements, and weight. You will fill out some forms as well. You will begin at whatever station you like, and change stations when you hear a loud tone over the speakers. You will go around the circuit 3 times. 10 minutes per circuit, working out for a total of 30 minutes. You will intermittently hear a voice come over the speakers instructing you to check your pulse to make sure you are within calorie burning mode. When you are finished, you will go into the relaxing stretch room where you will do a number of stretches (guides will be posted on the wall), and slow your pulse. Every week, if you choose, you can weigh in. And I believe there is also monthly measurements. It's been a while so I don't remember too many details. An employee will put your stats into the computer and track your progress. Stats can be printed out as well. Curves, unfortunately, has died down over the years, so locations are hard to come by (at least here in NJ). It is unfortunate, because Curves is really a wonderful, empowering place for women to go and feel safe working out without buff college dudes gawking. If you can find a Curves location, you should definitely try it out. A great place for beginners, of all shapes and sizes and ages!

Review for Vapor Steam Liquid Medication for Hot Steam Vaporizers - 9 months, 3 weeks ago
I would definitely recommend CVS brand vapor steam liquid. It is compatible to Vicks Vapor Steam Liquid, with the exact same active ingredients and lower price. You add a measured amount to your vaporizer tank and the vapors help to open airways, and reduce cough. Great product!
Not my favorite shampoo for kids due to its harsh ingredients, and my children's already dry scalps. L'Oreal Smoothies Shampoo does smell delicious and make hair soft and shiny. I just prefer to use more natural ingredients for my children.
