Review for Drunk Elephant Protini™ Polypeptide Cream - 1 week, 3 days ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
The best moisturizer I have ever used-and I’ve used a LOT. Drunk Elephant continues to deliver.
It’s a light gel-cream packaged in a beautiful push top container to prevent air and contamination. It has peptides, amino acids, and growth factors for firming, lifting, and smoothing.
It never pulls or leaves your skin greasy. It keeps my skin soft and even, calm and keeps redness at bay. It definitely helps with any fine lines.
I use this as a day cream and will incorporate it into my routine as a night cream, instead of Lala Retro,as the weather gets warmer.
I absolutely recommend this to anyone needing a good quality moisturizer that leaves skin soft and without an oily residue.
I buy mine on DEs website or at Sephora, and its 68$.

Review for Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum - 1 week, 3 days ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
I use almost exclusively Drunk Elephant products. This is a great product, but I find myself reaching for it a bit less lately as I find my results have plateaued a bit.
It’s packaged beautifully,as all DE products are,in a twist-top container that protects from light and air and slows oxidation, which is a problem with many Vit C products.
It spreads so beautifully and sinks in quickly. It mixes well with other products or is amazing alone. I find using mine every other morning works well,as it has s 72 hour reservoir effect,so it stays on the skin for 72 hours after use, even when you wash your face.
As a day serum/Vit C/antioxidant,this is pretty much one of the best you can get. I absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to fade hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and to even and firm their skin.
I buy mine on DEs website or at Sephora. It’s 80$.

Review for Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil - 1 week, 3 days ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
This is my favorite,or at least in my top three,Drunk Elephant products..it just keeps everything so calm. It’s the centerpiece of the Drunk Elephant line and Marula has so many benefits-healthy fats and esters,anti-aging and ant-inflammatory properties, and it mixes well with other products. They bring you their Marula pure and unprocessed.
Since using this-I’m on my 4th large bottle-my redness has receded and my skin is just happier overall. A few drops are all you need.
I love facial oils in general and this one the most. I have tried other Marula oils, like The Ordinary’s offering, but nothing absorbed or had the effects that DEs did.
You can get a sample at Sephora or buy the Night Bright duo and try out this along with Framboos.
I love it. I can’t recommend it enough.
I buy mine on DEs website or at Sephora. It’s 40$ for 15 ml and 72$ for 30ml.

Review for Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum - 1 week, 3 days ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
Lately I’ve switched over to almost everything Drunk Elephant in my skincare routine.
Framboos is an amazing every-other-night chemical exfoliator. I love Glycolic Acid as an exfoliator and this has a perfect 12%. It’s a beautiful gel formula and one pump spreads so beautifully over the skin. The entire line is free of the “Suspicious Six”,ie Essential Oils, Drying Alcohols, Silicones, Chemical Screens, Fragrance/Dyes,SLS. This makes these products later beautifully and very rarely,if ever, cause any irritation.
The price tag is bigger,at 90$ for 30 ml,but it’s so worth it. Your skin will be even, glowy, calm and smooth. I highly recommend this and any/all DE products. I get mine on DEs website or at Sephora.

Review for Glossier Play Colorslide Technogel Eyepencil - 2 weeks, 1 day ago

Review for: Candyland, Sparkle Shark more...
I have mixed feelings on these pencils.
The formula seems to vary between shades-Candyland was described as a “irridescent sherbet pink”-it is not. Its a salmon pink, and the formula is dry and barely shows up. It tugs. It isnt easy to work with, and I promptly returned mine.
Sparkle Shark is much better in terms of formula. Its descibed as a “shimmery gummetal grey” and this is pretty on-point. This pencil has a better color payoff and shows up well,a bit light, but I feel that it actually looks nice as more of a wash of color. Its easy to smudge, which is important to me as I prefer a more imperfect look.
They seem to last awhile, about 5-6 hours before fading.
The pencil needs to be sharpened, which is I dont love, because it gets much smaller as you sharpen it each time.
I like Sparkle Shark and do recommend it. Candyland was a quick no for me.
I plan on trying Stable Relationship and Early Girl.
At 15$ a piece, these pencils are overpriced. They should be more in the 7-9$ range.
I will update this review when i try new shades,as some are appealing to me still.
These are availiable on Glossiers website for 15$ each.

Review for Glossier Play Blade German Engineered Sharperner - 2 weeks, 1 day ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
Im a huge fan of the original Glossier makeup-its perfect, simplistic and easy to use minimal makeup.
Glossier Play,to me,seemed like a rushed and not very well-thought-out release.
However-this sharpener is absolutely amazing. It sharpens to a clean point in just a few turns. It works with the Glossier ColorSlide pencils well,as well as some of my other pencils that require a sharpener. Its aesthetically pleasing and catches the shavings so you dont make a mess.
The most ingenious part, though,is the purple rubber pencil that it comes with to clean the inside of the blades so you dont mix the color from the ladt pencil you sharpened. Its honestly a really great idea that was never done before.
The Blade is 4$ and is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this. I got mine on the Glossier website.

Review for BIODERMA Sensibio H2O Micellaire Solution - 1 month ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
Purchased at: Amazon
Literally I will not be without this product. I have seen it around for so long and finally tried it about 6 months ago-what a game-changer.
We have hard water in my house, which can irritate my skin, cause redness, etc.
So I started using Bioderma and then a heavy mist of Avene thermal spray when I wash my face. The idea of not actually using water freaked me out at first,I thought it would be enough, but I wear very little makeup most days-and it was like an epiphany.
My redness was reduced and my skin was just calmer, softer.
This is amazing for cleaning up under your eyes,or fixing a liner mistake. And it’s SO gentle. It’s not a HG product for so many people for no reason -it’s the best.
I get mine at either Beautylish or on Amazon. A little goes a long way. Try it.
Review for Garnier Fructis Style Surf Hair Texture Paste - 1 month ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 5
I buy this for my fiancé to keep his thick, shortish hair in place without stickiness or white flakiness.
It smells amazing and he seems to favor this over the more expensive brands. The texture is easy to work with and the hold isn’t too hard. I have used it myself to play up my angles and layers.
You get a good amount and it’s available at CVS or Target.
It goes for about 5-6$. I do recommend this.
Review for: Natural Fair more...
This is a really lovely, simple CC cream. It evens out my skin tone and keeps my dry patches at bay. The coverage is sheer but buildable, and the texture is light and sets to a nice glowy finish.
The added SPF 30 is so welcome-SPF is one of the most important parts of beautiful skin.
I recommend this to anyone with dry skin looking for a CC cream to even out the skin, add moisture, and protect their skin from the sun.
I buy mine on the Clinique website and it’s about 30$.
