I'm a mom, a wife, a teacher, and someone who's trying to document it all through blogging. I write about my family, my teaching practice, what I'm cooking, what outfits I'm putting together, and the restaurants we do and don't like.
As a parent, you will surely relate to Frances's parents. Frances has to go to bed, but first, a hug, a drink of water, a monster, etc etc etc before finally falling asleep. I hope reading it to my kids doesn't give them any ideas!
I've read several of her novels, and they've been engaging, thought provoking, and keep me guessing. I'm currently reading The Storyteller, and it makes me feel a physical reaction, it's that powerful!
I bought these for my kids' lunchboxes, but I've eaten way more than they have. I love them! I tastes like a pretzel, with a delicious flavor and wonderful crunch, but it's a reasonably healthy packaged snack that is nut free! It's disappointing that they use sea salt (presumably to lower the sodium) when I know this is a secret source of MSG, so be careful if you have a reaction to MSG. But for my family, this is a great and fun little snack!
My sons' morning routine includes a bar of some kind on the ride to school. I've been choosing Kit's lately, and they love them. I love that they're organic and flavorful and from a company I trust (made by Clif bar). I just had, though, a HORRIBLE flavor. Like can't finish one bite (Lemon Vanilla Chia Seed). I was really excited about this flavor because it sounded awesome, but it's awful; it reminds me of the Lemon Pledge scent. All the others have been great!
One of the things I miss most about my pre-kids, pre-wedding life was the girls' nights out dancing. Zumba allows me this feeling while focusing on cardio. It's fun music, and a party atmosphere, all at the gym. I tried Aqua Zumba for the first time yesterday, and it was a blast!!
