to get rid of acne, i use 10% benzoyl peroxide cream, which was recommended by my dermatologist. however, if you have sensitive skin you should not use this, and should stick with a lower percentage such as 2.5%, as this is a harsh chemical which can dry out and burn your skin if not used carefully. i’ve been using this cream for years, and it tends to get rid of mild acne almost overnight, but be careful with your usage because once again, it is a harsh chemical. i would recommend asking your dermatologist before using.
after cleansing my face, i use clean and clear moisturizer to make sure everything stays clean and soft. this is great for me because it’s not too heavy, and doesn’t clog my pores, and i don’t have to worry about washing it off tomorrow morning.
after taking off my makeup, the next thing i do is clean my face with cetaphil’s daily cleanser. since i’m someone with oily skin, i can confirm this product cleanses your face without drying out your skin. i use a scrub brush around my nose to make sure i don’t miss any portion that could lead to a clogged pore.
after a hard day of working, i use cetaphil gentle makeup remover to take off whatever i’ve worn that day. i’ve tried a lot of different makeup removers in my life and it took me a few tries to find one that didn’t irritate my eyes at all! recently i found this one at ulta and i haven’t teared up once!
