I use pretty high end skincare, so I was a little skeptical of all the rave reviews of this $7 toner I kept reading about. Then I was doing a photo shoot and the makeup artist said that she sends all of her clients home with a bottle on Thayers, because it's one of those things that works for the vast majority of people and that people love. So I gave it a try and I've been hooked ever since! Great refreshing toner, does not cause any irritation or breakouts and prepares the skin very nicely for serums/creams.
This is my favorite out of the Dr.Bronner's castille lineup. It is a very mild and pleasant fragrance that I just do not seem to get tired of, unlike some of the stronger scents like Lavender, Peppermint and Tea Tree. It's nice and moisturizing - I dilute it with water and use it in a pump dispenser in the shower.
I have thin, fine hair with some damage on the ends from highlights. It is always a struggle to comb through my hair after a shower even though I use conditioner. At the same time, oils weigh my hair down right away and I lose any bit of volume I had. This stuff is absolutely fantastic! I use about a pea sized amount, rub that into the ends of my hair and I no longer have to struggle to brush through it! It also smells wonderful. Overall, a keeper!
I only use pads as a "backup" to tampons on the first couple of days, and these are my absolute favorite. Even better than the Infinity ones. They are very flexible, have decent sticking power (as long as they don't get bunched up right after you've put them on, they'll last the whole day) and are very absorbent. As for the scent... I'm a little on the fence about this, but then again I'd rather have their smell than, well, the other kind of smell (sorry about that).
I guess these are decent. My only complaint is the scents - they are very strong and "chemical" and I have to rotate several deodorants because I get sick of the smell so quickly. But that's just my personal sensitivity issue. I do wish they had more choices of natural-type scents...
I wasn't expecting much from this (for some reason I just don't trust Covergirl products that much...), but it turned out to be great! Bought it for a black tie event, and it not only gave me great volume and separation, but also lasted the whole night through without any smudges of flakes. Oh, and it didn't irritate my sensitive eyes either!
I LOVE the scent of this product, and the super cute packaging, but unfortunately I had to give mine away - it just left my hands greasy/clammy (those in the know know EXACTLY what I'm talking about!).
First of all, I absolutely HATE the smell. It's incredibly strong and stays with you forever. I thought I'd get used to it, but alas... Secondly, it didn't do anything for my hair. In fact, I'm pretty sure my hair was in worse shape after I used about half the bottle - more dry and brittle. So it went into the "boyfriend shampoo pile".
I love this stuff - I have weak nails and always thought that acetone polish removers would be the end of me. However, the Zoya remover is awesome! Not drying at all, and easy to work with. As for the smell, I much prefer that to the smell of acetone.
I honestly don't understand why this stuff has so many good reviews. Maybe it's because I have fine hair, but it just leaves my hair even greasier than it was, no matter how far away I hold the container. Huge disappointment.
