This entire line from SM is my everything. I've been using only this shampoo and the leave in for a couple weeks now and I feel like my hair is really growing. I cut all my hair off back in March, and it's THRIVING. I LOVE how my hair smells after I use this with the leave in, and I especially love how it feels. I do feel that I have to wash twice though in order for my scalp to feel clean. That's just me though
I don't know about other people, but this stuff does the job for me. Of course it's not going to have the same benefits from a SheaMoisture shampoo for instance, but when I am in a crunch this is what I turn to. First of all, this brand is extremely affordable. I don't think I've ever paid more than $1 for a bottle, and I have snagged one for as low as $0.50. The shampoo gets your scalp clean, and for me doesn't feel very stripping.
For context: my skin is combination/oily, has some discoloration and unevenness, and could use some brightening. With that being said, I tried a whole jar of the Mask of Magnaminty about 1-1.5 years ago. For starters, it took me a few different visits to Lush (both online and at a physical location) to finally decide to purchase one. I'm pretty frugal, and that price tag wasn't cutting it for me. If you are someone with sensitive skin, or someone who doesn't tolerate the tingly feeling of mint well, I would avoid this. the tingling sensation felt great to me, but I love that sort of thing. The beans in it feel really great when you are rinsing off and provide some nice exfoliation. Now, it's been some time and I haven't repurchased. why? In retrospect, I think I allowed myself to get caught up in hype. THE MASK ISNT BAD, but it wasn't a game changer for me either. For my skin, the best mask I have used is the Aztec Healing Clay with ACV. If I don't have access to that - Queen Helene Mint Julep mask. This was a nice product to try, but for the price and the results I say Pass.
Live for these wipes. Honestly, the only reason I haven't gotten them again is because I don't have money. Once that is consistent with me, these will always be by my side. I haven't been missing anything in the way of cleansing my face by just washing with raw African black soap, but this is a nice addition for vacations and the like when I might not have my handy dandy soap with me, just to make sure all of the gunk is off before cleansing.
I used a whole jar of this maybe two years ago, and I liked it. I have oily skin, so this of course didn't do anything in the way of controlling that (it is Moisture rescue after all). I did really enjoy the texture of this though, as I prefer gels to creams for use on my face. It was cool to the touch, and was very refreshing when applying. I'm not sure why I did repurchase, most likely because I didn't have $ (was in college, it gets hard). Now that I think about it again, I would repurchase this, especially for use now in the summer.
Tastes really good, but like all Naked Juices, aren't actually healthy. Drinking these just for taste, they're great! Lots of great flavors, etc. They can be a bit expensive but I suppose that's warranted given that they're "fruit and vegetable" drinks. Looking at these as a "healthy" drink though, they're not. FULL of sugar, and I'm pretty sure they don't actually serve much of a nutritional benefit since these go through pasteurization and whatnot. So, again, if we're just talking taste...great. Nutrition? Nah.
I LOVE Hi-Chews! This mix is pretty good since I don't come across the banana one often. I like all of the flavors! I don't like the grape as much as the others, and I still haven't tried kiwi. These are really good.
I have been working on cutting out dairy from my diet for about a year or so now. Ice cream was easy to get rid of, but sometimes I crave something cold, sweet, and creamy. In comes this brand. I really like the variety of flavors (even though there could be more). I prefer the strawberry to the vanilla since it is not as grainy. I still think I prefer the cashew milk base over the coconut base for this same reason, but not by that much.
