I respect the power of skin care and adore the beauty of makeup. I am a foodie too. I am moving to accept a new job. Beauty Likes: Looking for a matte/demi-matte foundation finish, (don't want to look greasy), satin foundation finish, liquid foundation is my choice over cream foundation due to the fact that liquid foundation runs lighter, like my foundation to balance combo skin and mattify, mattifying/balancing primer, translucent powder that mattifies, "mosaic" powder (like Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Face Powder) that mattifies, and eye primer. Any finish on eyes and lips. Open to Eyeshadow and eyeliner. Like mascara that volumizes as the primary benefit (don't want my lashes to hit my glasses). Open to any lip product (no needles for plumping). Will try powder face bronzer that doesn't look dirty on my fair skin and doesn't make me look greasy. Illuminating powder. Curious about contouring. Multisticks sound fun. Love my eyebrows (eyebrow powder, eyebrow pencil).
Beauty No Ways: eyelash curlers (torture devices), body tanner (no Oopma-Loompa look). No alcohol, ever (family history of alcoholism). Loom knitter as well, and have several scarves to show for it.
I received this moisturizer for free from Influenster for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own. This moisturizer may be lightweight for normal or even normal to dry skin, but for people with oily/combo skins, this moisturizer might feel heavy. It feels light, but I don't think that this moisturizer is best for oily/combo skins. I would strongly prefer a moisturizer that drys down to a matte feel.
Petco does tend to cater to higher-end stuff, but what they do have is nice cat furniture/toys, which is what most grocery stores don't have. We got our cat nice cat furniture for him to play with, and he loves it. I would recommend shopping here for top of the line stuff that you can't get elsewhere.
This snack is very fruit and tasty. I received this as a freebie when my card number's ending number was drawn at the store. It's one of those 'better for you' candies that taste very good. I don't eat these often, but I would recommend these to others.
For the price, you are not going to get the Ferrari of lipsticks, but what you do get is a good, passable lipstick that isn't horrid of the lips. Posh is a good neutral pink lipstick for everyday wear, and I would recommend it to other people. Not bad for cheap lipstick.
I discovered this shade in the L'Oréal Colour Riche Matte collection (this shade, Blake's Red, goes by the name Devils Matte-Vocate Red 402), and it's such a gorgeous blue-red. I hope that they never stop making this. I would recommend this shade to others.
I remember these when I was younger...I would get these as a nibble snack. These are just like the full sized ones, only smaller. I would probably stick to the full size now, but these are so cute. Delicious.
These are some of the best pecan shortbread cookies ever. Buttery, pecan-y, delicious, and I will get them again and again. I haven't seen many that are similar to this. I would recommend these to others.
This color is a pretty pink that is cool toned, which is a must for me when it comes to pinks (I don't want peachy/orangey in my pinks), and for the price, it's a bargain as well. I enjoyed the color because it reminded me of the pale lips that I have admired.
The product is actually very good---Matte lipsticks are a wonderful thing, but the color isn't a pretty cool pink like I was hoping for, but an ugly salmon-ish pink. The color isn't flattering to my complexion at all. I won't buy that color again, but I also got Blake's Red/Devil Matte-vocate Red, which I have tried and I like it---it's a cool toned red.
Traditionally, hand sanitizers are plasticky and gloppy. Yuck. But this is a spray that you can spray, and it has a nice lavender scent. I discovered this alongside the Burt's Bees spray sanitizer (wish Burt's hadn't discontinued that product) and it's my preferred sanitizer. So nice when you are out and you can't wash your hands.
