I like this, but I don't love it. I use it overtop of my foundation, which I put overtop of a different concealer, to hide anything that might be showing through and to hide my under eye circles. It does an alright job, but I think I'll be looking for a different concealer once this runs out.
This was the first blush I ever had, and it was great for beginners! The blush isn't too pigmented (but it's buildable) and the color is just perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the applicator, so I would definitely recommend getting a different brush to go with it. But I think it's adorable. I bought another once I had used it all up, but I definitely don't use it as much anymore as I prefer a bit more color on my cheeks. All around, a great blush if you're just getting familiar or you want a more natural look.
I was really disappointed by this powder. I have it in the color 315 Soft Honey, and I wish I had never bought it. It oxidizes to such a weird color when on my skin, it's incredibly orange. It's not sheer enough for me to use as a setting powder and the color is too weird for me to use as a powder foundation. It seems to be a nice quality powder otherwise, easy application, nice packaging, all the little things. Except when it's on my skin, it's horrible. It also looks really cakey on me. It's been sitting at the bottom of my makeup bag for months now, and I know I'm never going to use this again.
I love this as a finishing powder! I have oily skin and this helps keep me matte throughout the day. It's easy to use, but I will say it's kind of hard for me to open the plastic pop cap. Also, the applicator it comes with applies way too heavy for my preferences, so I use a powder brush to apply it. Other than that, this does a beautiful job setting my makeup and smoothing out if my contour or blush was a little too heavy-handed!
Review for: BH Cosmetics Contour and Blush Palette more...
I really like these colors, and they're super easy to mix. The only thing, I feel like this is challenging to blend, and the blushes are a little too pigmented for me. There's a lot of product and I think it's a really nice palette for the price. This was the first foray into contouring for me and I love how easy this is to use.
I love this stuff! It's so refreshing on a hot day. I feel like I can drink it any time. My favorite is Coke Icees, but even a bottle or can is delicious. I love it as my 2:00 pick-me-up when I'm working an 11-hour shift. I drink probably 2 or 3 a week. I have Coke at sports events, I have them at work, I have them sitting by the pool or on the beach. It's definitely my go-to soda.
First off, "intense" is definitely not how I'd describe this eyeliner. I have the purple amethyst, and its a very pretty color. Except, to make it show, I've got to make a thick line and go over it quite a bit. That being said, I kind of like how buildable it is. Days when I'm going for a softer look, I don't have to go over my line as often, and so on. Unfortunately I have fairly oily and hooded lids, and this eyeliner doesn't stay very well. It's definitely better with primer, but there are some days I just want to swipe on eyeliner and mascara and go out the door. This is not for those days. I have gotten a lot of wear out of mine though, so I'm thankful for that. I might recommend this to a friend, depending on what they were looking for. I'd say it's best for girls who are doing a full face for maybe a big event, or girls who have drier eyelids that hold product well and want a soft daytime colored liner. I probably will repurchase this once mine runs out.
I tried this as my first dry shampoo product, and I have to say it did not live up to the hype. Maybe I expected too much of a dry shampoo, but it did nothing for my oily, second-day hair. I felt like it offered a little life back to my hair, but within the hour I had to reapply. I'm glad I only bought the travel size, because this was a big disappointment. I love the other Not Your Mother's products I've tried, but this was a let down. The packaging was, as always with them, cute. I'm not going to buy this one again, for sure.
I was not a fan of this foot creme. Even with twice-daily use and regular exfoliating/buffing of my heels, it did not seem to soften them much after almost 2 months of use. It left my feet feeling sticky, and it did not absorb into my skin well. I found myself walking on my tip toes for 20 minutes after use because my feet were slippy. I also didn't like the smell. I would certainly not recommend this, and I will not be purchasing again.
The Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes did an alright job at taking off my makeup. They were nothing special, certainly not stand-outs, and as someone who likes to have a 1-step nighttime face routine, I did not like that I still had to wash my face after using them to get all the makeup off. They seemed a bit pricey for the product, still inexpensive but like I said, they didn't do a fantastic job. They also left my face feeling a little sticky until it dried. I probably would not recommend these, but in a pinch, they'll do.
