I received 3 of the PhytoQuench products (Cleanser, serum, moisturizer) free as part of a promotional campaign. Of the 3 products, this was my favorite. It has the same organic plant smell as the other products but is distinctly less fragrant. 2 pumps did an excellent job of moisturizing my very dry skin and it has a nice slightly cooling effect. It also layers well under makeup and my primers not affecting the laydown or absorption. The only negative i would say is that it didnt do much for fine lines/wrinkles but overall a nice moisturizer
Overall, I enjoyed testing out the product and would recommend it. I received this product complimentary for review from Influenster.
First off, let me just say that I was a MAC Prolash devotee for years. That formula was perfect but they sadly discontinued it. Enter my search for the next HG mascara. Sadly, this MAC doesn't even come close to how good the Prolash was. It is very average at best.
Goes on thick with a weird straight-rubbery brush. (I prefer a plush curvy wand but that's me). Despite the fact that MAC states the wand has reservoirs to hold more product, it doesn't coat lashes well or add much length. It seems to coat better if you don't let it dry too much in between, but if it's dry...forget it. You'll just be wasting product to make thick short spider legs...not cute. And, even though it makes your lashes have a hard-crispy feel, it still manages to flake off a bit. Save your $24 & keep looking.
I received 3 of the PhytoQuench products (Cleanser, serum, moisturizer) in a #voxbox from #Influenster. Of the 3 products, this was my least favorite. The cleanser has a gel-like consistency and foams slightly. It has a very organic plant-like smell which seems like it would be on brand with what they are advertising. It’s not my favorite smell, but the scent doesnt usually remain after you rinse it off. The cleanser is definitely not drying and does not strip the moisture out of your skin, unfortunately it also doesnt clean very well. A wipe ran across my face afterwards took off the residue of my makeup. It does seem to work better with my sonic brush so I guess that’s a plus.
My go to iron for soft curls. My hair doesn’t hold curls well, but this iron does a great job locking them in. They tend to droop a bit but only to a softer curl. I also love the rotating barrel, once you get the hang on using it, there’s no go back. I also sometimes use it like a clipless iron.
Love this scent. The shampoo cleanses well and seems to make my hair smoother and softer. My only complaint is that is can weigh down my hair a bit. If I use this I have to switch off with a volumizing option.
The scent of this is pure bliss. It’s probably one of my favorite scented lotions of all time. It moisturizes extremely well and goes on smooth. If you haven’t tried this product you’re truly missing out. It is amazing!
This is my go to foundation. It’s got great medium, but buildable, coverage. It applies best with a BB, but a buffer brush also works ok, but the BB seems to cover better. It has a more natural to matte finish, but I usually set it with a light brushing if translucent powder. It literally lasts ALL DAY without touch ups which is a huge plus. The color match was perfect for me. I usually wear NC 20 in MAC but it tends to be a hair too yellow for my neutral skin tone. The 1N2 Ecru was a perfect match and they have so many shades that almost everyone should be able to find one to suit their skin tone. Love this foundation. The only complaint is $43 is a little steep as 1oz doesn’t last too long. And I also think they should give you the pump instead of having to buy for an additional $10.
Just an average foundation. It goes on dark but tends to lighten up after it dries down. That being said, the shade range is very weak and tend to lean mostly medium warm/peach. Anyone with a very fair, cool or deep complexion will likely not find their match. I tried the shade Linen (I’m an nc 20 in Mac, 1n2 in Estée Lauder) but the shade still went too peachy/dark. The coverage is great, full coverage, minimized pores and the finish is a nice matte. However, it’s definitely not great for dry skin and not a good long wear finish. My skin looked too dry and it was breaking up bad on my nose after just a few hours. Might be a great option for someone oily with a warm medium skin tone.
This color is a nice chocolate brown. Formula goes on nice but due to color depth a bit patchy in places. It tends to ball up after a bit of time, which is definitely not pretty. The price is reasonable but don’t reach for this lipstick often because there are just so many nicer products that have longer stating power.
