I’ve been using this everyday for a little bit over a week now. I’m very impressed.
My skin is oily, prone to hormonal breakouts, and I’ve got blackheads. I haven’t noticed anything different as far as that goes. No new breakouts. So I’m going to keep continuing using this. I use it in the shower daily and I really like how it makes my skin feel. Occasionally, I’ll use my St. Ives after this for a little bit more exfoliation but I’ve only done that twice because this has those little micro bead things also.
The fragrance is nice. It’s light and not overwhelming. And a little bit of product goes a long way. I definitely used too much the first couple times. This is nice because it’ll last me a while. I’d definitely consider buying this again if its reasonable price wise. Solid product. I’m a fan.
I’m not the biggest fan of trying new skincare products because it seems like whenever I stray from what I typically use my skin hates me. I’ve never used Olay products but it’s a pretty reputable brand. I have oily skin. After two hours of wearing makeup .. it usually looks like it’s melting off my face. I also deal with blackheads and hormonal acne. Sucks when you’re 30, lol, but whatever. I do a pretty decent at maintaining it! I love trying face masks, so I’m pretty excited about this stick. I’m on day two of trying it out. Probably not a fair amount of use to write a review yet, but I think I’ve got a general idea of how I’m going to like it. I haven’t used it before bed yet so both days I’ve used it before showering. The stick concept is alright. I don’t know how it’ll be when I’m halfway through the stick yet, but right now it’s OK. It’s not messy at all, but it’s tough to work into the crease area of my nose. I ended up using my hands to distribute the product there better. Applying it to my skin was like almost wet feeling? Not oily or greasy but just wet. When I apply masks I like to feel like I’m glopping clay on my face. It’s nice that it’s not a thick application though and dries VERY nicely. After rinsing it off in the shower my skin didn’t feel smooth and it doesn’t feel smooth once I’m out and dry it off either. I don’t think I have a problem with my skin looking tired because of the routine I use so I can’t say it makes it look brighter. No breakouts ... yet. Fragrance is good. The stick concept..ehhh, maybe not for me. I’m glad I got to try it. I think I would’ve liked to have gotten the Pore Detox one better , but hey. It’s free. I might not repurchase this one but I’ll give the Pore Detox one a try if Ulta gets it.
I wanted to hate this beauty sponge SO much just because there are so many cheaper brands out there. I caved and I bought it at Sephora a while ago. I’ve gone through two now and it’s safe to say I absolutely love this blender. I love how it’s not super compact like some of my other sponges so smacking my concealer into my face with it is comfortable. I’ll still buy other sponges , like the eco tools? I think that’s what the brand is and the morphe one because they do what they need to do. But I’ll always have one if these bad boys too. Two thumbs up.
I love all of the blue buffalo product and my dogs do as well , just realized I clicked puppies , but I have the adult version of the life protection formula. So whatever , same thing , my dogs are just old. Haha. Either way ... great product. I’d dock a star for the price because this brands so expensive .. but I’m not going too because I like it.
This is a pretty average product. Like a lot of others , I received this in my boxycharm this month. But because boxycharm doesn’t take basically your hair color / shades into consideration yet ... this was a bit of a bust. The product helps my brows stay in place so I use this before using my Brow Wiz or Brow Definer (shade ebony). My hair is black and my eyebrows are pretty dark. I think this shade is just too light for me.
I don't think that I've used any other mascara besides this one since buying it. It's long wearing to the point where it's a pain to take off sometimes. I use this with Roller Lash and it makes my eyelashes look like they're false lashes. I docked a star because I recently read on comments on a Podcast that I follow that Benefit isn't cruelty free. Which bums me out, but I know Mac isn't either and I still use their foundation. I can see how this product isn't for everyone, but for me, it works great.
I can't remember if I I did a review on this already, but now that I've been using it for a couple of months I think it's fair to say that this is a fantastic translucent powder. I've noticed it gives some flashback in pictures, but it's not the end of the world because it sets my foundation/concealer so nice. My skins natural oil in my t-zone does come through towards the end of the day, but when I use this it keeps me looking matte most of the night. It's expensive, but I've had it now for about three months and it's not close to being out. I use it about four times a week since on days off work I don't do a full face of makeup.
I bought this and the Laura Mercier powder at the same time because I wanted to compare the two at the same time. I've been using both products for a little over two months. I like this product a lot. It's affordable. You really can't beat the price. This sets my foundation and concealer beautifully. I hardly have to do any touch ups when I use this. I deducted a star because of the packaging. The packaging is seriously the WORST. If I had an empty translucent powder container I would transfer it to that BUT I don't. So I'm stuck until something runs out. Also, when I use it to bake my skin looks like it's white and some flashback. I'll mix this with the Laura Mercier powder at that point.
