Like many, I love makeup, fashion, and all things beauty! I have a range of different products that I use and swear by, so I would love to share my experiences with beauty products, as well as get the perspective of others! I also love good food! I look forward to making this a successful experience!! Welcome!
Want a glamorous matte makeup look without breaking the bank? This Milk Makeup Blur Stick dupe will provide just that. It has a peachy tone, but works for all skin tones. When applied to the T-Zone (or any oily areas), it instantly mattifies and smooths the skin. Foundation applies wonderfully, and even after 7 hours of wear, I don't have to blot once! (And I have oily skin)! My foundation lasts longer and is flawless with this primer.
If you're looking for a foundation that looks like your skin, but better, this may be the one for you! This foundation provides a natural, skin-like finish. It has buildable coverage, and makes you look flawless. It's lightweight, yet wears all day. LO'Real offers warm, neutral, and cool undertones, so lots of people can find their shade. This particular foundation is great for everyday wear.
The Neutrogena Hydroboost moisturizing gel is a great, water-based moisturizer. It's great for those of us with oily skin because it provides hydration without the added oil. It leaves my skin supple and glowy. Best of all, it provides sunscreen, which is amazing!! If you're looking for something lightweight, yet hydrating, this is the way to go. I gave it four stars because it's a bit pricey ($15-$17) for a drugstore brand in my opinion.
Sooooo.....there's a reason why this is ranked #1 in highlighters! I have the palette "That Glow," and it is absolutely stunning! That particular palette has golden undertones and looks great on darker skin tones. Unlike some highlighters, they aren't powdery or flaky; they set easily into the skin and are blendable and buildable. The highlighters are velvety smooth and provide an amazingly stunning finish. They wear really well and give you an awesome glow.
Looking for versatility and pigmentation in an eye color? Well, that and more can be found in the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils. They can be used as liners or eyeshadows, to highlight your inner corner or smoke out your lower lash line. They glide on with ease and are simply gorgeous. At $5 each, they're really affordable and will last as long as a single pan of eyeshadow normally would. The white eyeliner (in the shade Cottage Cheese, I think) can also double as an eye primer or base, making the colors that you place on too of it really pop. Gorgeous!
The saturated lip crayon in the shade Dynamic is just that: dynamic. It offers a lovely fuchsia/pink color, and glides on with a semi-glossy finish. It looks great with a lip liner, and is great for a bold spring or summer look. These are $10 each as well, which is a bit pricey for me, but I will definitely add a couple more to my collection over time.
Circa Beauty has 12 new amazing shades! They have great pigmentation, glide on easily, and are very moisturizing. They are true to color. Used with a lip liner, these colors can create a great ombré look and look great on darker skin tones. At $10 each, they're moderately priced. Great formula!
NYX's prismatic shadows are gorgeous! They are great to wear to parties and when you want to create a dramatic eye. I have the shades charcoal and Mermaid. I recommend using an eye primer/base for Mermaid in order to intensify the color. These are amazing shadows and are long-lasting.
NYX has done it again with their amazing, yet affordable lip colors! The Liquid Suede line not only offers a range of nudes and vibrant colors, it offers great staying power and versatility. I use these to create ombré looks and to wear alone. In either case, they glide on easily, dry to a matte finish, and last nearly all day. Amazing!
