I had high hopes for this mask but haven’t really seen any benefit from it. It makes my skin smoother for about a day, but it doesn’t really clear any blackheads somehow, and it’s painful because it has just enough grip to rip out fine baby face hairs but not enough to actually pull anything from pores. Tried steaming my face beforehand hoping that would work and it didn’t help at all. Super bummed, as overall I really love the Yes-To brand. This particular product just happened to be a flop for me.
This stuff is awesome! I’ve used a few different brands in the past and was content with a couple of them...but I got a sample size of this during an ULTA promotion and absolutely fell in love. I can’t speak to how good it is vs the other Urban Decay primers, but, if they are anywhere near as good as this one; it’s well worth the money. My eyeshadow stays on much longer, and when I use bright colors, they pop more when I have this on under then as well!
I absolutely love Elf cosmetics overall, however I was pretty disappointed in this primer. The consistency of the primer was a little too fluid, which made it go on a little unevenly, but once I got it on, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my standards and really didn’t seem to help with prolonging the life of my eyeshadow at all. Most of the time I’m super happy with elf’s products but I think this is one time you should spend a bit more money and get a better brand instead.
I fully regret buying this product. I don’t know if maybe I got a defective one, or if they are all awful, but somehow the second time I used this eyelash curler it ripped half of my eyelashes on my right eye out. Important to note: I’m 29 and have been using curlers since I was 14, I always curl clean lashes and then put makeup on after, and I have never, ever, had such a horrible issue with a curler.
I gave this lip plumper a try after having previously fallen in love with the Fusion XL lip plumper years ago, only to find that they changed their formula and were now part of the “chemically irritate your lips so they look bigger” trend. This Too Faced lip plumper does a decent job, and even though it’s not the drastic results I was used to with fusions, I’d rather use this gentle plumper instead of burning my lips with fusions new formula.
This is hands down my favorite facial cleanser! It’s strong enough to clear my pores, but gentle enough to not cause me any irritation. Personally, I like to wash my entire face with it daily, and then every couple of days I like to do that and then leave a bit to sit on my nose while I wash my hair so it has extra time to do work on my nose, since my nose is my biggest trouble area. It smells wonderful too!
I’m super torn on my opinion of this lotion. It smells nice and feels great going on, it seems to help with the overall appearance of my skin... but I seem to have a sensitivity to it. I’m not sure if the product is too harsh or if I I may be slightly allergic to an ingredient in it because it makes me itch for a few minutes after I initially put it on, so sadly, I had to stop using it.
I like this product, because it isn’t too heavy, doesn’t smell as chemical as some of the other products I’ve tried, and seems to brighten up my eye area a bit... I haven’t seen too much change overall but I’m hoping with continued use I will reap some long term benefits!
