Great stuff! I'm really happy to have received a complimentary box from influenster for review purposes.
As you can see, inside the box there is: a bottle of developer, a tube of color creme, an ampoule of fruit oil concentrate, and a small bottle conditioner. The box also includes detailed instructions and a pair of disposable gloves (WIN!).
Because my grays are mostly around my roots (I regularly dye my hair), I applied the dye on my roots and let the color process for the maximum suggested 25 minutes before spreading the color downwards towards my ends.
I was really happy with how my hair came out! This stuff doesn't have that toxic, overwhelming scent of some other box dyes. It has a pleasant, fruity smell but was still super effective in covering up all of my grays. I'll definitely be trying out more from this brand, but probably in a different color just to switch things up!
Some helpful tips for people who don't have much experience dying their hair at home: 1. Dab some conditioner or vaseline all around your hairline in order to prevent your skin from getting stained 2. Hold on to any leftover conditioner you have because this stuff is super moisturizing 3. You may want to enlist a friend's help because it can be a little tough to reach the back of your head 4. If you have shoulder-length hair or longer that you want to completely color, you will definitely want to get a second box of dye. However, if you are just trying to maintain your roots, one box will do
Not gonna lie, this essence is pretty pricey. It's made up of a whopping 90% of SK-II's proprietary ingredient: Pitera. The essence is as almost as thin as water and smells distinctly... fermented. The first few times I tried it, I was turned-off by the scent, but it's something you can get used to over time. After I wash my face, I pour some a small puddle of essence into my palm, and then pat it all over my face. This stuff makes my skin so soft, is super hydrating, and it really helped brighten up my skin.
I know that snail mucus and bee venom sound pretty weird, but my skin seriously LOVE this stuff. I wish I could give it even more stars. I use a lot of acne products that seriously dry out my skin. This helps provide hydration AND helps fade old acne marks. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump and feels a bit like aloe vera gel. It sinks in fast and can be used year-round.
I love to use this concealer on light-makeup days. I have pale, warm-toned skin and use the neutralizer shade to cancel out the color from my dark circles. It instantly brightens my under-eye, blends in seamlessly, and it matches my skin color enough that I don't feel the need to layer anything on top.
I really like this conditioner. I use it as an everyday nourishing conditioner; but if you have super dry and damaged hair like me, you will still want to incorporate a deep conditioner and a hair mask into your routine. The smell is fresh and definitely smells like coconut.
I know that Jack Black is considered a Men's brand, but they make really great unisex lip balms in great scents (my favorite is grapefruit). It's a thick gel that squeezes out of a tube; the applicator is plastic, slanted in the shape of a lipstick. It's very hydrating and non-sticky. I primarily use this as a day-time lip balm because it has SPF and is easy to apply on-the-go.
I like it! I like candy corn and white chocolate separately, and I'd say they go along together pretty well. These are limited edition and usually come out in October. You get a bit of a candy corn flavor with this, but it just tastes mostly like sugar. I really like that the colors are orange, yellow, and white because it helps me get in the Halloween mood.
I love using this as an everyday toner and have done so for years. Unlike some of the other witch hazel toners you can find at the drugstore, this one does not contain any alcohol and will therefore not dry out your skin. I also love how affordable Thayers is.
I love mine! It's not as bulky as the Defender Series and is more than enough for my everyday needs. I've dropped my phone more times than I care to admit, but it's survived perfectly with this case. It comes in a few different color combos, so definitely look around at all your options.
I have a Commuter Series and it's perfect. I don't drop my phone too often, but I did have an incident where I was using a regular case AND a glass screen protector but my phone screen still cracked. Otterboxes can be a bit pricey, but it's much cheaper than the cost of a screen replacement.
