My name is Christina Goltare, Social Media Influencer, Beauty Blogger and Part-Time Freelance Makeup Artist. I was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, where I resided until 2004, when I relocated to the Twin Cities of Minnesota. My interests include researching, testing, reviewing and promoting beauty brands that are cruelty-free and vegan with a good cause. I am very passionate about anti-aging innovations, educating people about non-toxic health and beauty products, researching products from health and beauty brands and learning all the ways that I can make a positive impact in the Cosmetic Industry. And I also write, paint and act a little!
This is one of my favorite lines for smoothing my hair. I especially love the Smooth Infusion products in the warmer months, when my hair is much more frizzy and out of control. Aveda is cruelty-free, pthtalate free and free of parabens which fits my lifestyle and I have been using Aveda since 1999 when I worked for the company. I will always love and use Aveda.
WEN Fall Tuscan Pear is one of my favorite seasonal by the brand. I've been using WEN for over a decade, since it aired on QVC, which is where I purchase all of my WEN products because I get the best deals and they have exclusive items that you can't find anywhere else. As long as WEN formulas are suitable for my hair, I will continue using the products. They are cruelty-free and free of parabens, pthtalates and other chemicals that strip and ruin your scalp and hair, which is VERY important to me. I am a loyal WEN girl forever!
WEN Six Thirteen cleansing conditioner is one of my favorite formulas by the brand. I use this formula in-between the Bamboo Green Tea and other rice based seasonal formulas, for intense deep hydration and extra care for my dry, damaged, highlighted waist length hair. I've been using WEN for over a decade, and I intend to keep using it as long as the formulas are suitable.
Aveda's dry shampoo is by far THE BEST of any dry shampoo formulas I have ever used. All others leave a film, residue, etc. and an awful scent. All others also contain harmful chemicals that I avoid at all costs. Aleda is cruelty-free, and free of parabens, pthtalates, etc. and nothing compares.
Peter Thomas Roth's Pumpkin Enzyme Mask is perfect when your skin appears to not be absorbing your skincare, is feeling flaky, blotchy or congested. It feels like a high quality spa treatment at home! You should treat yourself with this mask.
Erno Laszlo pioneered the double cleanse method with this soap and active phelityl oil... I love this soap to deep clean and detox my skin when I'm experiencing an abundance of blackheads, pimples and need a deeper cleanse than usual.
I like this cleanser to use in the shower, and I believe it has a positive effect on my skin, especially when I am experiencing breakouts, but... it is not my favorite. I do not like the smell, and my skin feels a little 'too clean' after using.
Tatcha's Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil is the first and only oil cleanser that I will ever use and need in my life!!! It is perfect! The combination of camellia oil, rice bran oil and other traditional and time honored Japanese ingredients remove makeup, debris, oil, etc. without stripping the skin of its natural moisture barrier. The feel of my skin after using is plump, bouncy and perfectly cleansed and balanced.
I absolutely love Josie Marans pure Argan oil, especially in the harsh winter months. My skin loves the Light version best, and my skin just drinks up the essential fatty acids! I use it everywhere... my face, cuticles, elbows, hair. And, I mix it in moisturizers or use it in my bath as well. So many uses for this oil, and it is worth it!
Erno Laszlo's Firmarine Lift Face Mask is the first 'modeling mask' that I've ever used and I LOVE it!!! The ingredients are of the highest quality and perform the same as if you were do visit the spa and pay for a luxury face mask like this! I am amazed at how soothed, poreless and even toned my skin looks and feels after using this mask.
