I'm a huge foodie with perpetual wanderlust and dream of traveling the world one day. I also love following independent designers for fashion and also keeping up with beauty blogs for make-up and beauty tips.
I've never tried a liquid lipstick in glitter before, so I was keen to try it out when I got it in my VoxBox. The color doesn't stay evenly when you squeeze and spread it on your lips. I feel like you have to do a thin layer, let it set in, then do a second to get the glitz to really pop. I may use this over one of the matte colors when I go out.
I'm so glad I received these colors. I didn't think I would like matte lipstick, but these colors were perfect for a natural look and it looked great on my lips! I put a layer of lip balm moisturizer on a couple minutes before applying because I have pretty dry lips, then add the lipstick.
Ah, classic plain Cheerios! Perfect for those who don’t want a sweet cereal. I usually go for sweeter cereals, but this is a perfect snack when you need something crunch that isn’t as unhealthy. Sometimes I mix half Honey Nut Cheerios with these for a balance.
This is one of my favorite cereals because of the crunchy oat clusters. Plus the cereal is healthy — almonds for nut protein. I like that the oat cluster hold up when you pour milk in your cereal too haha.
Ghirardelli makes some great chocolate, so I used this for some hot cocoa jars as party favors. It’s really good when made with warm milk. It’s a bit pricier, so definitely look for sales and save for a special occasion :)
This matcha is great for the price that you pay. It’s in a tea bag, so it’s convenient for preparation, but then again you’re not getting the same flavor from preparing matcha in the traditional way from the powder, but it’s a good medium between regular green tea and matcha.
The winter has been harsh this year, so I'm really happy I got this product. The cream isn't really thick or sticky, so I've loved using it as a leave-in conditioner -- working a small quantity of the cream into damp hair once out of the shower. I then blow dry my damp hair. The next morning, my hair feels soft and healthy; it's less frizzy than when I don't use any conditioner or other other products. I feel like it's such a waste to use it as conditioner; using it as a mask in the shower as a mask (shampoo, work small quantity into hair, let sit for a minute, then rinse) works well too.
It was my first time trying overnight oats, and I loved this one! There's crunch from the almonds and a subtle coconut flavor. It's super easy -- add milk the night before and it's ready for you in the morning!
