So, it's my "after skin" 14 days, 28 applications and I have a lot to say about Loreal revitalift. Very mixed reactions. Overall it was a success. But I'll break it down with positives and negatives.
Positives: definitely saw dramatic differences in my skin. Started noticing slight differences on day 3. But notable differences at day 6. The deep lines in my forehead are notably shallower as well as my laugh lines. Small lines around my eyes have virtually disappeared. Significant change in the bag line under my eyes. Skin tone much more even and skin feels more firm and much softer. Have an amazing glow that I haven't had since high school and my pores are even smaller. I have combination skin. But my dry spots are outrageously dry. Almost scab like and haven't been able to get rid of it for years. And after day 5 I had no evidence that they even existed. The lotion is super hydrating and a little goes a long way! I used what was on the lid and didn't have to use out of the jar until day 11. The scent is nice and fresh but not overwhelming. Nice to not smell too chemically, or medicated or musky.
Negatives: had small breakouts on my chin and along my jaw line. Left my face feeling sticky and greasy. Seems to heavy for a daily moisturizer. Better off as a nighttime "serum" type mask. Didn't absorb too well after a few days of use. Almost like it was "too moisturizing"
Final verdict: will definitely continue to use. However will only use it at night. Love the affects. Just not as directed. Need to modify it for my needs. Was a little concerned about the price. But now that I know how long it lasts, totally worth the price. Highly recommended! Just suggest to use it sparingly until you figure out what works for you.
Not a fan. Very pricy and didn't see the results. I heard rave reviews, however, I didn't see it. Gave it to my teenager and she didn't like it either. Asked my dermatologist about it and he said oh no! Don't use that. Too harsh. And I agree!
