Review for: Klorane Dry Shampoo with Nettle more...
This is a really good dry shampoo. It has a very very light scent that doesn't linger in your hair. I used it on very very oily hair and it still worked out well. It doesn't make your hair crunchy or leave a white cast either. The only negative is the price. There are just cheaper options that work just as well.
These are super great bars for a quick snack to hold you over til your next meal. They don't have enough protein for a meal replacement and they're not super low calorie for what you get so I probably wouldn't use them on a diet, but they're great for a simple, all natural ingredient snack. They have 3 grams of protein, 140 calories, 5 grams of fat, and 7 grams of sugar. However, all the ingredients are wholesome, such as "whole grain oats" as the first ingredient and "rosemary extract for freshness". The fats are mainly healthy fats from the almonds. Plus, these taste delicious. I keep them at work for when I get hungry before lunchtime and don't want to give into a junk food craving.
This protein bar is pretty good in that it is gluten free, has no sugars, and 20 grams of protein for around 200-250 calories. However, I couldn't stand the taste. It had that super artificial chemically flavor that is pretty common in processed protein bars because it's impossible to have a perfect health bar that's full of only natural ingredients. I get it. You can't have everything. So if you can stomach the taste, then these bars are just about perfect otherwise. But if you cant take the taste, you're going to have to make some sacrifices in what you get. I personally choose other bars with all natural ingredients that have around the same calories but about half to a third of the protein, since I use them as a quick breakfast and not as a true meal replacement since I don't eat a big breakfast anyway. For a true meal replacement bar, however, these have the necessary protein without being super high calorie. All in all, I recommend these bars with the caveat that the artificial flavor is terrible and I personally would never buy them again.
I don't think the Unisom Sleepgels really did anything for me. I was able to fall asleep reasonably quickly and sleep the whole night through, but I didn't wake up feeling rested. It was like I was passed out, not asleep. My body might have gotten rest, but my mind wasn't able to and I was tired all the next day. However, most other sleep aids don't help me either.
The Pure Leaf Home Brewed Teas feel so luxurious but are so simple and easy to brew and enjoy. I quality of the tea gives it a fragrant, inviting aroma from the moment you open the package. The citrus was obvious but not overpowering and made a nice contrast to normal sweet tea with its addition. The tea bag itself seemed made of quality material, just like the tea inside. I do think these are a bit expensive if you're making a large batch, but it is so much better than cheaper brands by far if you're really looking for something delicious.
I love this cream. It's very hydrating without being greasy. It soaks in quickly. It's great for sensitive skin. My one complaint is that I don't like the smell. But it isn't very strong and is easy to look past considering all the positives. I use this more as a hand and targeted area body lotion (elbows, knees, feet) instead of a face lotion because it's a bit thick. But in the winter, it's great as a night facial moisturizer.
This isn't bad at all. It's not the tastiest, but it's not too grainy or gross either. The thing I don't like is that it's misleading on the protein. It says 20g on the front, but if you check on the back, it's only 20g once you add milk. If you use water for less calories, you miss most of the protein. I do like that it's not high sugar like a lot of tastier drink mix options, which ruins the point of being healthy. This is also lower calorie than some of my higher protein drink mixes, making this good for a snack/breakfast replacement or after a smaller workout instead of as a full meal replacement as it's intended. (Note that I totally do not agree with the slimfast diet plan because it nearly guarantees you will be eating too few calories and is a crash diet more than a lifestyle change to truly improve your health.)
I love this as a kit. It gives you everything you need to keep your brushes clean and lasting as long as possible. The best part of this kit is the cup with the rough bottom that you can scrub your brushes against. It works amazingly well. The other parts of the kit are great but I feel like you could replace them easily with your own substitutes for much cheaper. However, the rough bottomed cup is very unique in my opinion and makes it worth getting the kit one time and then replacing the other things as necessary with cheaper options. I also have a complaint against the brush shampoo not being the greatest cleanser. It takes several scrubbings and a lot of product to clean foundation brushes, but if you go back and then also clean them with a regular face cleanser, it still gets more gross stuff out. So I definitely wouldn't repurchase a full size of the brush shampoo.
