I've used about 25% of the tube in the first week of having this bad boy. I think I'm actually addicted. It's such a nice lip treatment; it's a lot thicker than the YSL tint-in-oil and feels like a gloss. It's not sticky however, and has a nice light scent. I have 03 'SOS my heart' (red) and there's no real colour payoff, which I prefer. It makes your lips look and feel so luscious, plump and hydrated. You can always find this in my pocket or purse!
Dry shampoos are really hard to get right for me, especially because my hair is very thin and gets oily quickly. I'm sure I've tried every brand under the sun and this is the only one I've ever turned back to and repurchased (I'm sure I'm on the 5th or 6th bottle now). The minty scent makes you feel so clean and it works the best without being too stiff. I sometimes use this as a texturizer too. Make sure to shake it vigorously and spray a distance away to avoid any harsh lines. And always rub it into the scalp. I've had no problem with it and it's light enough to rub away if you do get the white residue on your hair. I recommend this to everyone I know. With the price, you can't go wrong.
I recently cut my hair really short and was on the hunt for a decent hairspray to get that cool, gritty, messy, curl look with lots of volume and texture. This was on sale for $2.50 and so I gave it a whirl. I have never been so pleasantly surprised with a drugstore product before. Honestly, for the price and for what it's done it is by far the BEST hairspray ever! The hold is amazing and it helps me with any desired hair look. Other high end texturizing or regular hairsprays just do not compare. I will never buy another brand ever again. This is my ride or die hairspray now.
I will begin this review by mentioning that beer is definitely not my favourite type of alcohol. I'm not all too keen on the taste and the aftermath but for some reason I trusted Stella and have never turned back. It's one of the greatest for a reason; it actually tastes great, is smooth, and pairs with many things or fantastic on its own. It's the only beer I will ever drink and I've turned many friends to loving it too.
It really is worth the hype and more. Does the job and doesn't look too cakey or powdery on the face. I do notice, however, that if you go heavy-handed it can flash back or seem way too light on your face in pictures. Use sparingly I say. But other than that I really love it. I usually go for the travel size from Sephora and it's lasted me a really long time. If you're Canadian, a really good dupe for this is the Marcelle translucent face powder (works preferably better imo and is a fraction of the price). I stick to LM for bigger occasions and Marcelle for everyday wear.
I have the Birthday one and it smells delicious! I think the little sparkles are such a cute touch, and they're subtle enough to give your lips just a slight luscious pout. It is extremely thick and I do wish it had an applicator to make it easier to wear on the lips (I thought it was frozen inside when I first used it because it was hard to get out). Other than that, I really love how long-lasting and moisturizing it is. I want to try them all!
Honeymania is my ultimate favourite line at The Body Shop, so it is no surprise that I'd love this product. It makes the body butter scent last even longer on me. I actually took this with me on vacation recently because of its handy size and its light and breezy scent. I now associate it to the sea and sand whenever I smell it. Highly recommend!
I was always so lazy with my nail polish and would never apply a base or top coat. I finally got fed up with the yellow staining on my nails from using dark colours on their own that I decided to try this out. It's one of the cheapest base coats at the drugstore but still works amazingly. I don't get that horrible staining anymore and it makes my manicure last so much longer. I'm a convert for life now!
Was recently on an international flight with two stops with AA and I have nothing but praise for this company. I was delayed three hours on my way back and would surely miss my last connecting flight. AA attendants assured me that they would assist me to ensure I made it back to my final destination. As soon as I got off, I was greeted with a new boarding pass to another flight and was helped in getting through customs and moving my bags. Great company. Just one star knocked off for not having a plane with seat TVs on a 10 hour flight.
