Summertime is time for caipirinhas! Avua cachaca is a single sourced from one farm in Brazil. The Prata variety (or silver) is aged for 6 months to a year, resulting in a mild, dry, green flavor that goes well mixed with sugar and limes in a caipirinha, or used in place of white rum in other cocktails.
I like tartar sauce, but I love pickles. The only thing that can improve tartar sauce is more pickles and finally Hellman's has added more! Not only is this tartar sauce good with fish sticks and seafood, it's also delicious with chicken fingers, on burgers and sandwiches, or mixed with ketchup to make Thousand Island dipping sauce.
I had never heard of foam conditioner until I tried this new product from Herbal Essences's bio:renew line. I like the feel of the product, almost like a moisturizing mousse. It's easy to use and doesn't make your shower slippery the way traditional conditioners can. However, I can't give more than three stars because my thick dry hair needs more moisture than this product can provide. I found my hair to be dry and unmanageable after using this product and quickly went back to my old conditioner.
I was so excited to try Herbal Essences's new bio:renew line when I received my latest VoxBox. It has a terrific scent, very relaxing cucumber and green tea, that makes my shower feel like a spa. I also like that the new formulation is a bit gentler on my hair than old school Herbal Essences shampoo, which didn't use to work well on color-treated hair. The new formulation is color-safe and leaves my dry hair soft and silky.
My fave Christmas gift this year. The Arlo system is easy to set up and link to your home wi-fi network. Cameras can be placed indoors or even outdoors, as they are weatherproof. It's easy to arm/disarm your system and check in to the live feed of your cameras when you're not home. It makes my new home feel safer and I like being able to check on my dog while I'm at work.
