Hi! welcome to Influenster. I've been at it for about a year now. obsessed with makeup and skin care. mother to a beautiful little boy. Follow me on Instagram for reviews and amazing recipes @Rithixulous
I was finally able to do the testing of the 2@almay Best Blend Forever foundations sent to me complimentary by @crowdtap. Before I start, I am in NO way a professional or even have any sort of formal training. This is just my personal opinion and experience of the use of practical/affordable makeup. I started off with a freshly cleaned face and applied @skinceuticals C E Ferulic as usual. The very first thing I noticed was the scent. It doesn't necessarily stink or is overpowering but it's absolutely there. It has spf 40 and the scent of sunscreen is obvious. I wish there was better instructions on how the buff tip is to be used. I just used the squirt applicator and my beauty blender to apply it. By the time I had finished using my @maybellineMaster Contour kit and went to start applying my mascara the foundation had already creased in my eyelid. I will say though, the contour powder and highlighter blended effortlessly on top of the Almay foundation. I was in Aww of how easily it blended. But.... The over all feel of this foundation was greasy. It didn't feel like it ever dried. It reminded me of the type of foundation I used in junior high. It creased and made my pores look huge! The scent wasn't awful but I feel like it could've been lighter. Basically, it's more like a tinted sunscreen than a foundation.
