I’ve stayed at Hyatt in Oklahoma City and downtown Dallas, TX. I had wonderful experiences with both and will continue to book with them. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The complementary breakfast was excellent as well. The employees were nice and made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend staying at a Hyatt.
If you don’t like glittery highlights, you won’t like this or the KVD Kat Von D Metal Crush Extreme Highlighter Palette. If you want something without glitter her Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadow in Thunderstruck is perfect and the inspiration for these highlights. In my opinion, Gold Skool is better than the Metal Crush palette. I think the glitter is finer, applied smoother, and I’m actually able to use a brush to apply it. The pearlescent gold color is flattering and looks bold. If you like intense highlights this is a winner. I like the apply this with a dense brush or with my finger. If I really want it to pack a punch I’ll use a damp beautyblender. This is a great multi-use product. It can be used on your face, as eyeshadow, all over body glow, inner corner highlighter, lip topper, etc. if you bought this and don’t like glitter, you can find another use for it. My only issue is that I did experience some fallout when applying. I had no issues with wear time and was able to wear this for about 8 hours without noticeable fading. If you can get your hands on this I would definitely pick it up!
I have the supersized Pixie Pearl and the regular version of Diamond Dust. Laura Geller makes one of my favorite formulas for highlights. Dixie Pearl is my absolute favorite from LG! It’s a light pink with some warm undertones. It has luminosity and the right amount of shimmer. I love wearing it daily because it has the “glow from within” look but can be built up for a more intense look. This blends like butter as well and I’ve had no issues with it emphasizing texture. I really wish Pixie Pearl would be permanent. I would definitely recommend trying out Laura Geller highlights, and I plan on trying more!
Laura Geller makes one of my favorite highlighter formulas. They give me the right amount of shimmer and look wet which I love! It’s not chunky at all. You can build this up and make it look super intense. I love the pink shift Diamond Dust has to it. It’s one of the pinkest highlights I own. It goes perfectly with my fair skin. I definitely would recommend this if pink highlights are your thing!
I totally regretted not getting the Sweets Kit, so when I saw this I definitely had to have it. All of these shades are flattering on my fair complexion which I was super excited about! This has shine and shimmer without having chunky glitter. They all blend beautifully on the skin. I love to mix Marshmallow and Butterscotch together. Those are my two go-to shades! Gumdrop and Starburst look incredible as well. I’m super in love with pink-toned highlights!
I was so excited for this collab! ABH always has the best collaborations with superb formulas. I haven’t been let down once by them. I had debated on if I should get the highlight or not because I’m extremely fair and I was a little worried that this may be too gold for my complexion. I went ahead and ordered it after watching a few swatch videos. I’m so glad I did! This works for my complexion and looks really beautiful. Inside the packaging it looks like liquid gold! The highlight itself has intensity and makes the skin look wet. It has the right amount of shimmer for impact without it being over the top. I love wearing this daily and for special occasions. I wish this was permanent!
I was looking for a BB cream that was fair enough and would be good for the summer when I didn’t want to wear foundation. I had previously used Physicians Formula BB and CC cream and was opting for something along the lines of that. The color was perfect but this did not mix well with my skin type. This was so siliconey and cling to the tiniest dry parts of my face. I had tried patting it in with my fingers and even a beautyblender. It never looked good so I had to return it. The only reason I gave this two stars instead of one is because of the color. It can be difficult finding something extremely pale with neutral undertones.
This is probably the most expensive lipstick I own and at first I was pretty apprehensive buying such an expensive lipstick, but now I totally understand why. The color payoff is the best I’ve ever tried. It’s truly one swipe and BAM! Full opacity. The formula is rich, creamy, and smooth. This doesn’t noticeably dry out my lips either. This is a very comfortable formula with it being a semi-matte. I have Anna which is a pretty rosy color. It has good staying power as well. I don’t have to touch up much unless I eat something that’s oily.
I would absolutely rate these a 4.5 if I could! Several years ago I had a lot of textural issues. My skin was so much drier, flakier, and the pores on my nose would feel so bumpy. I started changing my skin care to try and fix these issues. I had gone to Sephora to look around and I had an associate ask if I needed help. I explained what I was there for and needed help picking things out. She had another associate help me and she picked these out. She used it on my face to demonstrate how they worked and I was really amazed how great my skin felt after one use! It made my skin felt smooth.
So, I started using these religiously. I would use them every other night after cleansing. My skin texture transformed after a few months and my complexion looked brighter and more even toned. These truly got me hooked on using chemical exfoliation and anything that has AHA/BHA.
I feel like the only drawback for me was the price. It was about 88 for 30 Pads. So I started looking for an alternative. I’ve used a lot that I liked, but not love nearly as much as the Dr. Gross ones until I started using the the Tarte Knockout Tingle Treatment.
I still 100% recommend these and I could see myself repurchasing them at some point!
