I wanted to love this foundation. i was sooo excited to try it but unfortunately i was disappointed. but i don’t think it’s a bad foundation i just don’t think it’s right for my skin type. my skin is as dry as the sahara so i need luminous hydrating foundations (like the COVERGIRL Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation) and this just wasn’t that. on my skin it applied weird, i really don’t know how to explain it other than it looked like it was sitting on skin rather than sinking in and it gave my skin almost a spongey texture and no matter what i did it would not blend out. i was able to get it to look half ways okay once i applied the rest of my makeup but within a couple hours it had somehow worn off. i have to say the foundation match was really good but i would be much more impressed if there was a way to include undertones and skin types to change the actual formula and not just the shade. i haven’t completely given up on this foundation yet as i still want to try it with different primers/powders to see if i get any different result but as of now my overall conclusion is just that it didn’t work for my skin type.
I picked up this mask a little over a week ago and i have used it twice and so far i am so impressed. i love anything tea tree and before purchasing this mask i used an entire bottle of the Tea Tree Anti Imperfection Daily Solution so i wanted to try something new from the tea tree line. i do have horribly dry skin (and very acne prone) so the idea of tea tree clay mask intimidated me a little bit but to my surprise it did not dry out my face even a little bit. typically after washing off a clay mask my face feels tight and dry but not with this one! even with only two uses i have seen a difference in my acne. i also read that some people have used this mask as a spot treatment and before even using it as a mask i did that. i felt a huge under the skin pimple coming up so i dotted some of this mask on it and left it over night and it was GONE within 24 hours which is incredible. this mask is a little more than i typically spend on masks but so far is so worth it and a little goes a long way! i should also warn that i feel a warm (almost burning but not quite) sensation for about the first minute after applying but it is followed by a nice cooling sensation for the remainder of the time. it doesn’t bother me but may bother some. and obviously this mask smells like tea tree but i adore the smell of tea tree, but if you don’t you will hate the smell. overall, if you have acne prone (even if it’s dry) skin i would definitely recommend this mask.
I absolutely adore this primer. It is like the best combination of a moisturizer and a primer. it goes on so smooth and i can really feel it hydrating my skin which i definitely need before applying foundation. the “filter” in the name of this primer is so accurate, i really can’t explain what it does, maybe it’s the lavender color of the primer but it does something to where i could apply just this primer (and brows of course) and go about my day. much like the back light primer, this primer adds an amazing glow while also going on like a moisturizer. i also love the smell of this primer. i can be really sensitive to smells but this primer smells delicious.
love this primer. my second favorite from becca. i love how glowy it is, it’s almost like applying a liquid highlight all over underneath foundation. foundation goes on so smooth and i can apply a matte foundation over top of it and it will bring life back to my face. the only reason why this isn’t my top favorite from becca is because while it definitely gives you the glow factor, i don’t think it is actually hydrating my face (which i prefer in a primer) the price is also not ideal but it lasts me a long time so that makes up for it a little bit.
This primer is probably my favorite of all time. i have very dry skin and the problem with using radiance primers is that they’re not actually hydrating and therefor don’t work well with my skin but this primer is different. it actually does feel hydrating and my skin feels soft and hydrated before makeup application. foundation goes on so smooth, never patchy or weird in any way. The only down side to this primer is the price. I didn’t dock a star because of the price because it’s to be expected from i higher end brand like laura mercier and i would say it is worth the price.
i got this mask as part of a 500 point perk from sephora and i do really like it. it goes on pretty easily despite the gooey tar-like consistency. it is not at all painful to take off and my skin looks so clean and clear after removing the mask. and of course peeling it off is fun in itself. i docked one star because the price to amount of product ratio is a little off. you need to use kinda a lot of product in order to get it thick enough to be able to peel it off. i have used my mini twice and i’ll get at least one more use, twice if i’m lucky but i’m thinking for the full size, it also won’t last very long. i think it’s worth a try if you can get a trial size but i don’t think i’d recommend to go out and buy the full size right away.
my absolute all time favorite energy drink. they taste like orange soda and they are perfect in the morning (or any time really) ZERO CALORIES ZERO SUGAR idk how they make this taste so good without any calories or sugar but it's incredible. extra bonus is the price. they retail for 2.50 but most gas stations have them for 2/$4 and you can't beat that. i would 100% reccomend this every time. i'm not a big fan of the other flavors of the "Ultra" line but this one is amazing.
I received this product as a 100 point perk from Sephora and it's the first and only product i've ever tried from the brand. first off this smells amazing. citrusy and sweet. the texture is sort of off putting. it's suuuper sticky. like rubbing molasses all over your face. the sticky texture plus the sweet smell naturally makes it feel wrong to be putting on your face. i've only used this maybe three times but i have enjoyed it every time. i like the large exfoliating granules and it leaves my face soft and moisturized. i'm not totally sure this is worth the price, because i find myself reaching for other masks that don't feel like i'm rubbing honey on my face.
I got this mascara as a sample in my ipsy and i have always heard good things about it so i was excited to try it even though i didn't think it would beat my favorite drug store mascara. i have naturally long lashes so it doesn't take much to impress me in the mascara department therefor i typically just stick with drugstore mascara. since i had it i decided to use it and it definitely makes my lashes look even longer than they are. you can easily build it up a lot without it looking clumpy. it's also an extremely black formula. i will definitely use this since i have it but i don't think i would purchase the full size for the price.
