Just a female, looking to update her makeup/Skincare collection, after 13 years of not playing with it. In my 30's, so my skin is changing, and my reaction to products as well. Have Sensitive eyes, dry sensitive skin and eczema. Recently started to buy things to try out, and learning all the new ways of Beauty of the new century. Here to bring you along my journey with what I find out that works, and what doesn't. There may be a little fun thrown in too.
I've only started using dry shampoos in the last few years,. This one works well, and it is super easy to apply. I find I don't need to brush it out as much, it doesn't cause a huge buildup when you are spraying your roots. It does spray white, but it brushes out well. I put it on before I got to bed, after brushing it and massaging it in. The next morning my hair is great, and I have less flyaways around my face.
I've even started using this after swimming, on the nights the kids go with my, as I always have less time to fully do a shower, when I have 3 little ones running about, and I am always the last one into the shower too.
I love that they have the mini versions, as you can take them on trips easily, to the gym. Can throw it into your purse, or have in an emergency bag in your vehicle.

This has been great! I tested it for about a week on myself, then once I knew it was safe, I started using this on the kids too. We use this after we go swimming. The chlorine just sucks our skins dry, even while swimming in the water. I had originally picked these up because I thought it might help, as it would be a quick after pool solution. It was meant as something to sort of hold us off until we get back home, but this stuff works so good, I often don’t feel the need to put anything on us again, until later on in the night, before bed. These are easy to use, I can just spray each leg and arm, they can rub it in, then I just spray some in my hand, rub together with my other hand, and then apply to their face. They do their belly, I do their backs. Takes maybe 6 minutes to do all 3 kids. The Scent is very light, not outrageous, so the boys don’t mind it. They aren’t smelling like a flower bush.
This is chocolate, so you can’t expect it to be all that great for a diet. I knew this going in. I am not a huge chocolate fan to begin with, preferring very dark chocolate and the real white chocolate.I have to say, I like this, it has just the right amount of dark chocolate. The orange flavour is great, it is very flavourful in the chocolate. The chocolate breaks nicely, and has a very satisfying sound. It also crunches nicely in your mouth. If you choose to just suck on it, it doesn’t instantly melt, but gently dissipates on your tongue.
I would buy this again, and have already ventured forth and purchased a different flavour as well.
If you live in canada, you can find these at the Real Canadian Superstore, in the Organics Isle.
Review for: Welch's Fruit 'n Yogurt Snacks Strawberry more...
These didn't last too long in my house, haha. The kids were super excited about trying these, so much so I didn’t even get a picture of them in the packages, all I got was an empty one. They are rather cute looking, the treats. We split the bag up and have 3 each(there are 4 of us who eat them).
The kids loved them and wanted more. I really enjoyed them too. I look forward to seeing what other flavours they have in the lineup. The one we tried was the Strawberry.
They have the same great taste as their other Fruit Snack lineup, what you’d expect from Welch’s. The yogurt part is nice and creamy, it is solid at first, then melts in your mouth. These aren’t messy. which I like, making it something that can easily be shared.
These don't last really long, do they really help?I didn’t try these myself. The dog did, and he ate it up in like a minute, haha. I really can’t attest to how well it would have helped his teeth, but he did really enjoy the treat. He is a puppy, only just hit a year old, so his teeth are in decent shape. They looked clean and healthy after he ate it. If anything, he enjoys them.
I had to have someone else try these. Or a pair of someones! These are for the cats, and it is from a brand I have purchased in the past and knew they loved. I feed them dry food, and actually only give them these wet food cans as treats once a week.
They really liked these creamy ones. The kitten normally abandons hers after only a 1/4 eaten, but she ate this one until it was half gone. It has nothing to do with the products, and more with the fact she is little, so her tummy is small.
***Disclaimer - I did not let them eat it out of the cans, that was just for picture purposes, I plated it after the shot***
This was the kit I did, not as red as I usually go, I normally get like semi permanent colour for halloween costumes and such. When I do get the semi permanent, I usually get it in a mousse style, so was happy to find a kit that was permanent, but was a mousse too. It really was only one extra step, as the semi permanent normally has an aerosol can, and this permanent one you had to mix the colour into the mousse container.
Once I chopped the 2 feet of hair off, it was like 10 minutes to colour. So nice and easy. I was wearing a towel to protect my neck and back, but the clip popped off. I was worried it would be hard to get all my mess off, but it came off in the same amount of time it took me for my hair to run clear in the shower.
I have always been good with Garnier products, so it was a safe bet I wasn’t going to react badly on my scalp with this one. I had no burning at all, and only slight nose irritation.
The dye didn’t go as red as it should have, especially since my hair was lighter than the kit required. It is meant for Brunettes going red, not blondes going red, but I took that risk. The end result was great.
I purchased this about 6 weeks ago, and have been using it twice a week.
We are still getting snow in canada, and it is the middle of april. Combine the cold weather with my recent habit of swimming 3 times a week, my lips get rather bad. When I start to get annoyed with the peeling, I just use this lip exfoliator.
I apply it rather thickly, then use my clean fingertips to massage it in a bit more, where the trouble spots are. I then just wipe it off. It gets all my flakes, and leave my lips feeling moisturized.
I know I will be buying another one of these in the near future.
I would suggest this to anyone who has issues with your lips, as it is a very cost friendly alternative to buying a lip scrub.
I bought mine at Walmart for $2.50CAD. They had a few different flavors at my walmart too.
