Like so many I am a lover of makeup! I love finding and trying out products and letting people know my thoughts and opinions. While I am a fan of the brands we all know and love, I also enjoy seeking out newer/indie brands and trying to get the word out on them as well. I am fair and honest in my reviews and love hearing others' opinions as well.
Very impressed with this Lifeas. This is my first time using a traditional lipstick with the metallic formula and I must say I'm quite impressed with them. My initial thought applying was they are creamy, moisturizing and comfortable. I appreciate the shades offered are more than just the standard pink and nudes. While it took a few go overs to get to the intensity I was going for, once there at the finished look was lovely. Would recommend these for those going for the look of a metallic and the comfort of a traditional. You will need to reapply, but I found I was able to get good wear time from them.
One of the best setting sprays I've ever used. I love trying out new products and when I found a sample size of this spray in the impulse section at Sephora, I figured it was worth a shot. So glad I did. I've already run out and will be picking up another. Makes my face look FLAWLESS. I swear on days I used it I had to keep looking in the mirror 😂. If I had to give negatives, the first would be the smell. My oh my the smell. Very chemical smelling and I'd have to hold my breath while spraying. The second critique would be that I would have to cover my eye makeup with my hand while spraying otherwise it would cause sticking of my mascara. HOWEVER, I am totally looking past that because of what this product does and the end result.
As a huge fan of colorful looks, this has become one of my go to palettes. The quality of the shadows are excellent, the color payoff if phenomenal and the price is quite reasonable. I do experience a bit of fallout with these so you may need to do the eyes first, but it's a small price to pay for such an excellent palette.
If you've ever slept on ELF products, please wake up now and try this brush TODAY. For foundations (I use for liquids and creams) and concealers, it does such an amazing job. Provides an airbrush finish to the skin and cuts my blending time in half. If that's not enough, it's only $6.00! If you want an inexpensive quality brush, check it out. Like...now.
Sooo in love with this mascara. I have short, super curly Lashes and I usually feel bald without my falsies. This is one of the only mascara a I've ever found that gives me decent length, definition and volume. It does not clump up and is my go to on "natural" days. Love. It.
Nope. I wanted to love this foundation. I LOVE stick foundations, so I was looking forward to trying this out. So disappointed in this product. Yes, it blends beautifully and looks gorgeous upon first application. Two hours in ... looked like it was melting off my face. Seeped into every line it could find. I tried a few different times with different application methods (with and without primers), setting w/ powders and sprays, baking. Nothing helps it. Thoroughly disappointed. May try again in the winter, but for now...nope.
Oh my Lord, Yes Yes YASSSS!!! I'm not one rave about a product, but I must rave. This foundation is absolutely stunning. I've found myself preferring stick foundations over liquids lately, so I knew I wanted to try this out. This is now my top pick. Though medium coverage, but definitely buildable, I prefer the look it provides from a once over. A few of my imperfections peeked through, but the final look comes out as "my skin but better". Had to blot once mid day and it held through my entire day without breaking up. GORGEOUS.

So, honestly, I had no intention of purchasing this palette. Didn't think the shades would work for me with one or two exceptions. Couldn't really care about the liner and glitter. Eghh. Have to eat my words. The whole kit (with 1-2 exceptions) is phenomenal. Every color swatches beautifully and are true to color when applying. The lightest brow bone shadow I planned to stay away from was the biggest surprise. Is actually quite subtle when applying and did not come across as ashy or chalky as I expected for my skin tone. The mattes blend smoothly. The satins and shimmers pack on nicely. These shades will all work on multiple skin tones with no issues. Only exception is the black which actually comes across gray and takes a lot of building up. The blushes are beautiful and did the job, but I ended up having to build and mix to get a color that worked for me. The bronzer...no 😄 Fair to light/medium will have no problems. Deep...uh uh. The highlight was also quite surprising. A little too pale on its own for deeper tones, but makes a beautiful topper and had an unexpected hint of pink. Again, fair to medium will look gorgeous on. The glitter is amazing and the liner has become my new go to. A great combo of the KatVonD Tattoo and Ink liners. Gives wonderful precision with its pointed tip and also fills in very well. Overall, pleasantly surprised with this palette. Went in not expecting much and found it to be very versatile, excellent quality and worth a look at.
I am a huge fan of the Philosophy brand. I have used their cleansers, serums and masks and love them. Because of this, I was quite disappointed in this particular product. Noticed the first one or two uses a firming sensation and could see it's effects and thought I'd found yet another product to love, however shortly after could not see this product making any real difference for me.
The finish on this foundation is heavenly. Literally. You will be lit and glowing from within. All it took was one pump to cover my entire and blended out with ease. What’s most impressive to me is that this is a full coverage foundation, but still manages to look very natural and skin-like. My one critique is the lack of shade options. I was lucky to find one that worked for me (Mahogany), but there are not many options there.
