I purchased this solely for Kerratosis Pilaris, the “chicken” skin rash-like skin disease. Is it a disease? Idk. Anyway... I had purchased this after seeing some other KP’rs using it and having good luck with sloughing away their dead skin, even though this is not an exfoliant. When I used this for the first time, it severely dried out my arms, where my KP is. So if you have oily skin, this is definitely for you. Now, luckily for the sake of this review, I do have an oily area, to speak on on in terms of this products effectiveness. During the hot, and humid months in the south, my chest gets oily! Girls, we know how easy our tata’s will sweat. My cleavage and underboob would itch so much. I originally thought it was some sort of a yeast infection, but ointments wouldn’t clear it up. When I used this, all over my body, it instantly cleared up my itch on my chest. My skin doesn’t feel as oily, either, in between washes. So! Once again, oily skin, yes! Get this!!! If you’re dry in places, avoid it, as it’ll strip your natural oils too much.
What a chameleon undercover! I was confused at first by the color of the silver gloss, though it is gorgeous! I look at it as a holiday/new years eve color. But once I saw how it paired on top of another color, like a pink lip base... I was shook! The gloss is a gorgeous wet look with a shiny and light reflective silver glitter. But once paired on top of a pink lip, your lips are of a purple wash. It’s so fun and never ending with its pairing possibilities.
Hydrating formula! Super dry mattes were SO last year ;) At least for me! So, I loved the creamy texture that’s given from these Covergirl lipsticks. I find the silver gloss topper to be very interesting. At first, when searching alone, I didn’t find this to be seasonal appropriate. But once I added it on top of the two lippies I had received, the Pantone color of the year appeared... PURPLE! What a fun and surprising chameleon.
I’m in between rating at 2 stars and 3. I love the price point, and design selection, however, I ran into some issues... Recently I’ve had to cut back on my spending and going to the nail salon is not a necessity for me. But I love the way having a pair of styled nails gives me confidence and an overall polished look, so I started looking for a cost friendly option. My first few press-on’s were the type you glued on with essentially a super glue. I wasn’t even paying attention when purchasing these impress nails, bought solely for design. These have a peel off strip on the interior of nails, that have a gummy strip that sticks directly to your natural nail. A cleansing strip was provided to clean the natural nail before applying, along with a small nail buffing emory board. The application was quick and easy, and fit my nails relatively well. No complaints there. But I shortly noticed how my hair, when putting into a pony tail, stroking my hair behind my ears, etc would caus my hair to get caught under the nail. The gummy strip did not allow the edges of the press on’s to securely seal down, allowing hair on all nails to get wrapped underneath. Strands would get pulled out 9x out of ten. The quality of the nail itself was ok. I’ve had other press-on’s last a full week. I had several of these impress nails fall off within an hour, to a couple days. I got so annoyed having to replace the nails and pushing them on, I finally just glued on to get through a whole 5 days. In my second photo I show my bare nail after removing the nail, they don’t look or feel or appear to be damaged. And on my middle finger you can see a ridge in the nail. I noticed how some of the nails started randomly getting busted and idk how. I wore these for no more than 5 days, and wasn’t doing anything unusual or laborious to cause such damage. I appreciate the healthier nail option of having a gummy press on, and not using a harsh super glue but they need to work on securing the edge of the faux nail with the real. That’s my largest issue; and longevity of the stickiness being my second. Any other qualms I can overlook due to the price.
Update: after having more time wearing this, I'm not fond of the formula. The formula is tacky, and leaves a weird sensation. Your lips don't look dry or flakey, but they fill like it. It stays on well, and I can drink without any transferring, but the texture is completely off putting. Color is great, it's long lasting, but the formula could be improved. I received this product complimentary from influenster for my honest opinion in return.
I had a tongue scraper for awhile, and didn't find it to be very comfortable. And I didn't think it was very effective, either. I received the orabrush for free in my voxbox from influenster, and it took me awhile to try this. But now that i did, I'm really happy with it. I like it so much, I'd spend my own money on it, and even recommend to friends. I first gave it try after brushing my teeth, and just swished with water. The texture is quite nice. Not too rough, just enough to feel like a brush-like sensation on the tongue. Then I added a dab of toothpaste to the brush, and gently brushed my tongue, and wow! What a difference. I didn't think my breath could be any more fresh after a good floss, and tooth brushing. This the orabrush by dentek really helps break away any germs and debris that may be stuck and embedded on your tongue. Will use daily! Received this free, in exchange for an honest, and personal review.
We have the best, most delicious! Taco truck near us. The only downfall, they charge extra for their verde. So, I picked up this gem, Herdez verde sauce. It's so good. There's no heat to it, but has such a yummy lime/citrus flavor to it. I even add it to some of my sandwiches, or mix with mayo for a spread and it's so so good. Yumm!!!
This is a Spanish sparkling/seltzer water. It's crispier in carbonation than other brands I've tried in America. I love this stuff because I don't drink soda, but this gives me the carbonation of a soda, and it's amazing for digestion!
I love Pom Poms!!!!!! So healthy and delicious. I love that pomegranate has so many benefits for you, too many to even list! But I specifically add this to my diet because of the inflammation I have due to chronic Lyme disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I love that these are sweet, and flavorful! And the outer gooshie berry texture, with the seed inside. So crunchy and delicious.
