I have wavy/curly hair that curls up best when diffusing. This spray helps define and gives curls more bounce without making it crunchy or weighing it down. The actual spray distribution could be better - it often feels like it's not getting sprayed evenly throughout my hair but rather concentrated on one spot more.
I was desperate for a moisture masque, so I opted for this B&B version. I'm very pleased with it. I washed my hair with Redken's Hair Cleansing Cream, then applied this, popped on a processing cap, and hopped in the tub. When my hair had air-dried, it looked like normal hair again--shiny, healthy, full of body, and my color looks revitalized. It still looks great two days later. I'm impressed that this is not waxy or oily, but still deeply moisturizing. It's expensive--$37 for a 5 oz. tube (although you can find it a bit cheaper if you do some online shopping)--but a surprisingly small amount does the trick, and I will rotate it with other deep conditioners I have in my stash. I will repurchase.
This shampoo works miracles on my dry hair, it leaves it so soft and shiny. I love the smell and the texture, it's a bit oily but it leaves the hair clean. For the winter months I'm going to use some conditioner or the mask for the ends only. Totally going to repurchase it.
Like other Volumizing shampoos and conditioners, I find this duo has a split personality. I have to wash my hair almost every day as it is incredibly oily, fine and (most recently) also thinning slightly. When I use this shampoo and conditioner my hair is either full of shine and volume OR lank, flat and dry at the ends. I alternate with a mild clarifying shampoo once a week so I'm not sure what else I can do!
I purcahsed this at the hair salon for $45! It is very expensive but definitely worth it. I had my hair cut short (just a little under my shoulders) and the stylist used it on my hair to keep the ends from flaring out since my hair is naturally wavy. I like to use about two pea sized amounts after I straighten my hair and work it into my hands and finger tips then apply throughout my hair epsecially the ends. It adds texture, volume and keeps the ends at bay. If you scrunch your hair in a upward movement, it creates a bed head look! I love it. The best thing is the SCENT! Omg this smells amazing and it lingers on all day even when I wash my hair. I love it! There is alot of product in the pot so it will last a long time. I'll definitely repurchase this again and again and again! 5 stars
