This primer caught my eye almost immediately. Pore minimizing, soft matte finish and designed for oily skin? Yes please! Upon application this really reminded me of the same finish the hourglass mineral veil gives me. The Becca one is about $20 cheaper, and keeps my shine at bay more effectively than the hourglass primer. So far, this primer has played well with every foundation I've paired it with - water based, stick and cream. I'm obsessed!
So I saw Influenster post on Instagram about a voxbox containing this product and was instantly intrigued. I've never been a Bareminerals fan but the claims about this product had me wanting to try it out. I purchased it at my local Ulta and immediately tried it out. I find that for my oily skin this product works better when applied with a brush. The longevity claims are definitely true as well - I find that it lasts about 8 hours on me before it starts to break up, and about 5 before I have to blot my face. Definitely a keeper!
I bought this from Sephora on a whim because I had misplaced my favorite Jack Black chapstick and wanted something different. The flavor is great and I love the sheer wash of color that it gave me, but I found that the product definitely got 'melty' from being in my pocket. One star off for the soft formula but other than that I would definitely buy again.
I received a deluxe size sample of this with a recent Sephora purchase and so far I love it! It gives me the perfect matte finish on my oily skin and a little goes a very long way. It's only down side is that it isn't as great at minimizing pores as my Porefessional is. I like this product much more than the MUFE and Becca mattifying primers that I've used in the past and will be purchasing a full size if the deluxe sample ever runs out.
Let's be honest - I drink this because it's cheaper than a lot of others and the bar I frequent sells them for $2 on Thursdays. This is the quintessential hipster beer, everyone drinks it but won't admit that it's not the best. It hits the middle ground of beers to me - better than the super cheap stuff like Natural Ice, but not as good as the everyday staple that is Bud Light.
This is good as far as pale ales go. Not my favorite (that would be Funky Buddha's Floridian) but not a bad choice when I want something light to drink. Though it doesn't give me the same crisp, summery taste as the FB, I still find myself drinking this beer every now and then.
Ordered this at the bar the other night because the on tap list said it had fruity notes in it. As a sucker for fruit flavored beers, I had to try it. It tasted like a typical beer, not a hint of fruit that I could detect. Think I'll stick to Leinenkugel's.
Ulta has been stepping their game up wildly the past few years. Though their website leaves something to be desired and my greatest wish is for them to offer Flash shipping subscriptions like a certain other retailer, I will go out of my way to shop at Ulta over Sephora because the rewards program is that good. They have spoiled me by making all my beauty needs - from razors to hair dye to makeup - available in one place.
Shopping at Sephora is always a luxe activity, however let's face it. Their rewards system needs a complete revamp, and the employees could stand to be nicer. I have been a VIB Rouge for 3 years, and made the switch this past year to Ulta. Their rewards program is so much more superior that I will go out of my way to shop there over Sephora. I don't see myself renewing Rouge status this year, and only shop at Sephora when the product I'm looking for isn't available at Ulta.
Generally the cheapest flights in my area come from United. The plane gets me from point A to point B, but doesn't make it a fun experience with TV screens etc, like other companies do. Given the choice and if price was not a factor I would most likely go elsewhere.
