This Punker eyeliner fro Ardency Inn is my new favorite liquid eyeliner pen. Not only does it go on jet black with one swipe, but it makes for the perfect line without any problems. I have tried so many other felt tip eyeliners that always either bleed or the tip isn't precise enough. This one glides on so easily and makes doing a wing super easy. You can also do an inner corner wing with this without it bleeding everywhere in a matter of minutes. Definitely a go-to eyeliner for me, and I would also say it is beginner friendly. If you have a hard time doing your wing with a normal liquid eyeliner, I would give this one a try. Highly recommend this
This Micellaire Solution from Bioderma is one of the best makeup removers I have ever used. As someone with sensitive skin and eyes, this is a holy grail. A lot of micellar waters I have used in the past have either broke me out, didn't do the job, or made my eyes feel itchy after removing my eye makeup. This removes all my eye makeup without tugging and without leaving a residue on my face. I like to take a cotton round, add a bit of product to the cotton round so it is saturated, holy it firmly onto my eye for about 15-20 seconds and wipe it off. You will be surprised with how well this works. It takes off everything from waterproof mascara to lash glue without having to scrub it off. I also sometimes like to put some on my makeup wipes to make them more saturated with product, which helps to remove extremely full coverage foundation wothout having to harshly tug at the skin. Overall if you are looking for a gentle makeup remover, this is one of the best. Cannot recommend it enough!
By far one of my favorite blush brushes to use. What I like about this brush is the weight of the handle, how sparse the brushes are, and how easy it blend out product. It applies just the right amount of product even if the blush is overly pigmented. Fantastic brush at a great price
This Maybelline Master Bronze and Highlighting Kit is absolutely amazing. I have extremely fair skin and this palette has a lot of options that look good on my skin tone, and also don't look super orange on me either. The highlighter in this palette is absolutely stunning. It is extremely pigmented and buttery and is a beautiful light golden color. It gives you a nice glow, but isn't anything super metallic. It's definitely a perfect shade for summer for anyone who is looking for a highlighter that isn't super blinding. The three bronzers are also super pigmented, buttery in texture, and apply evenly onto the skin. Since I am very fair I can only wear the two lighter shades of bronzer since the last one on the right is far too dark for my skin tone. These are some of the best bronzers at the drugstore. They last all day on my skin and did not become patchy when applied. I also must mention that this palette is perfect as eyeshadow too. The bronzers aren't super pigmented either so it's easy to either have a light bronze or you can build it up to become super intense as well. I want to point out there is a lot of product in this palette for the price of it. A little goes a long way as well which is something I love. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a drugstore bronzer and highlighter, by far one of the best options out there! I received this complimentary for reviewing and testing purposes, but all my opinions are my own.
These Master Camo Color Correcting Pens from Maybelline are absolutely amazing! I received both the green and salmon colored correcting pens complimentary for reviewing and testing purposes. They are both extremely creamy and pigmented with their formula. At first I expected these to be light in pigmentation but oh was I wrong. They are very opaque in coverage even when blended out with a dampened beauty sponge or a brush. You need very little product with these, and less is definitely more. When applying these I prefer to apply them with a brush instead of the applicator due to sanitary reasons. The way I use these is I apply my face primer to my face, wait til that settles in my skin and then I color correct. I like the salmon color under my eyes, and I use the green color corrector on the redness that I have on my cheeks and around my nose. I blend that out with a dampened beauty sponge and wait til it sets. After a few moments I than go in with my foundation and my regular concealer. With these you will want to use them before using a skin-toned cream product since they are meant to neutralize your skin tone so no discoloration peaks through. My mother had a falling accident last year and it left her face having dark blue discoloration inside of her scars. Even with a very full coverage foundation you can see the discoloration peak through. I applied the salmon color to her scars and blended it out and it got rid of the blue-tone that peaks through. These are really an amazing product, and I cannot recommend them enough. They are by far my favorite color correcting formula that I have tried both high end and drugstore. Definitely worth picking up!
Soap & Glory has one of the best lines of body products. This Sugar Crush Body Buttercream is no exception. This body butter is perfect for summer since it smells like limeade/lemonade but doesn't have a super heavy fragrance like The Righteous Butter from their line. For me the fragrance goes away after about 10 minutes or so, just like the other Sugar Crush products they have. What I like about this body butter is that it is not as heavy in texture and that it sinks into the skin relatively quickly unlike most body butters. It isn't greasy nor does it feel sticky. Another thing I like about it is that it has a gel-like consistency in a way. It doesn't have the same texture as most body butters and because of that a little goes a long way. If you are looking for a great body butter to use in the morning or just something light in texture I would recommend this. However, if you have dry skin I feel that The Righteous Butter works a lot better to intensely moisturize the skin. Overall, you can't go wrong with this and I highly recommend it!
Stella Rosa Black has become my newest favorite wine. Recently I was looking for a wine that was on the more sweeter side since I typically prefer dry wines, and a friend had recommended this to me. Not only is this Stella Rosa Black have a gorgeous bottle and design, but the taste is amazing. It tastes exactly like blackberries, but also isn't super sugary either. It's the perfect amount of sweet in my opinion without feeling like you are drinking a can of soda. What I found interesting is that it has a slight bubble to it, which I personally felt helped with the flavor. This wine was around $15 for the bottle, which to me is a great price point for the quality of this wine. It definitely tastes more expensive than what it costs. I want to point out that this wine tastes the best when chilled for at least an hour before serving. I find that the flavor is better chilled rather than warm. Anyone who I have had at my house who has tried this has fallen in love with it and has always asked me where I got it from. Highly recommend this to people who are looking for a new wine or who were like me and wanting to get introduced to sweeter wines. Definitely will repurchase in the future!
I recently tried out the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blushes and wow are they amazing. I honestly don't know why it took me so long to try these out because they became an instant favorite for me. Not only are the blushes smooth in texture and have just the right amount of pigmentation, but they are one of the very few blushes that will last on my skin throughout the whole day. With these blushes they apply like butter and a little product goes a long way. They aren't powdery or chalky in texture, and apply smoothly over makeup. They have a shade that will suit any skin tone and preferences, and out of the three blushes I have tried, the formula is extremely consistent throughout the line. Another thing I really like about these blushes is the packaging. Each blush shade has a different colored packaging that is the same color as the blush itself. Not only does it look gorgeous on top of a vanity for show, but it also makes it easy to pick out which blush you want to use without having to read the back or open each individually before deciding on a shade. I personally prefer applying these blushes with a Real Techniques Blush Brush or the Wet n Wild Blush Brush. I highly recommend checking these blushes out from Tarte. One of the best blush formulas on the market, you definitely won't be displeased with these. Cannot say enough great things about them.
This Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner by Fresh is my newest holy grail in my skincare routine. Recently I have been looking for a toner to improve the texture of my skin and to try and get rid of the acne scars and redness that I have been noticing lately. I picked this toner up from Sephora and wow has it worked wonders for my skin. I typically have a lot of redness around my nose and on my cheeks, and this has gotten rid of all of that and has made my pores less visible around my nose. I also noticed that the texture on my forehead has been reduced significantly and that my makeup has been applying a lot smoother than normal once using this product. I have very dry skin and I noticed my face feels very hydrated now, especially after using this toner. I prefer to apply this after cleansing my face and like to apply it with my hands since I noticed it sinks into the skin a lot better this way rather than using a cotton round. I typically wait about a minute or so and then carry on with my other products once it sinks into my skin. I also want to point out that the bottle is absolutely stunning and gorgeous on my vanity. It has rose petals inside the bottle which makes for a stunning appearance. When people come to my house they are always asking about this product since it looks so beautiful. If you're looking for the perfect rose water product I cannot recommend this enough. It's definitely worth the splurge in my opinion for how much it has improved the texture and appearance of my skin. Highly recommend this product!
The famous Tarte Shape Tape Concealer is by far my favorite concealer at the moment. It's extremely creamy in consistency, very pigmented, doesn't crease in my fine lines, and it's extremely easy to blend out. One of my favorite things about this concealer is the applicator. It's a big doe foot applicator wand that picks up just the right amount of product and makes it very easy to highlight with and apply under the eyes. What I really like about the applicator is that it is more than double the size of other concealer wands which makes concealing a breeze when in a rush. I also really love the pigmentation about this concealer and how easy it is to blend out. I find with this concealer I use less product, but I don't lose coverage when doing so. I highly recommend using a dampened beauty sponge to blend this out, and definitely recommend setting it with a powder afterwards. In the morning when I have been in a rush I have used this as a foundation even and it gives such a gorgeous natural finish with a lot of coverage. This concealer is by far worth the hype and the money. If you're someone looking for a new concealer, or just wanting to try it out due to all the buzz about it, I'd definitely pick it up. Cannot recommend it enough!
