I do public relations as a job and I review and test products for fun! In the time when I'm not writing reviews for products, I also review books! You can find my product and book reviews on my Tumblr page: http://brandimhodges.tumblr.com
In my other "free" time, I like to work on my house, bake and knit. I'm not really 85, it just sounds like it :)
If you aren't going to put a base coat and a top coat on your nails with the polish in the middle it is almost not worth the work/hassle of painting your nails. This really does do a great job of protecting your polish from wear. I also swear by chip skip by OPI.
I like this lipgloss but I didn't love it. While the color is great, it was stickier than I thought it would be/prefer it to be. I also liked the ability to wear a lipstick and wear this over it without really changing the color that much. It is something I would recommend with the stickiness known.
I am IN LOVE with this color. I have always been a fan of OPI products and this color is a red but a much darker red than one I have used in the past. I have found that this polish does (as everything that is not gel or powder dipped does) chip easily unless you use a base and top coat along with it and OPI makes an excellent set of those!
I rarely use these packets to make dressing! This is such a good addition to so many things! sprinkle over chicken and then bake it. Mix with some butter to make a sauce you can brush on things before you grill. Brush over shish kabobs that are going onto the grill! I also love to sprinkle this over corn on the cob and then bake it!
I love using these different cheeses - use them as a snack or on a tray when having guests over and they are always a hit! I also like to slice the cheese very thin and use it to top a hot bowl of soup or on bread that is going into the oven to get lightly toasted
This is the staple salad dressing I keep in my pantry. I use it to marinate meat, as a dressing for some dishes/casseroles and for salad. My favorite salad right now isa mix of cucumber, peppers, tomato, onion, mozzarella cheese balls and this dressing with some orzo pasta thrown in to add some weight to it as a meal. Use it as a side or as your light lunch and it is great!
I personally do not drink coffee but my mom does and I have purchased these individual cup packets for her before. When she comes and visit it is a must that I have coffee of some sort on hand! I buy these at Wal-Mart and she likes the Columbia coffee and the regular flavors as well. Although she does not like any of the other "fancy" flavors
I love making sausage balls and this brand and the original flavor is my go to for the recipe. I use the traditional bisquick sausage ball recipe. I will often buy the original flavor and the hot or mild and mix them together. I buy my Jimmy Dean sausage at Wal-Mart and I feel it is a pretty good value.
I had never tried Andouille sausage until a recipe last winter called for it...and where has this been all my life! I made an Italian soup using this sausage. I cut it into pieces and seared it a little on each side to get a really nice flavor to start coming out and then added it to my soup and it was delicious. Also it is really good in pasta!
