Obsessed with YNAB! Since starting to use it in January of 2019, my net worth has increased over 550% simply because it’s made me more intentional about my priorities and saving goals. it’s been so great to see where why money is going and where i need to cut back spending (because it’s taking away $ from other priorities!). The “give every dollar a job” rule really changed how i looked at budgeting!

Great product to help me manage my expenses. Watching the videos really helps with figuring out what to do and how to create a budget.

There is definitely a learning curve with this software. I don't enjoy using the app as much as the website, but it could be because of my amount of use, which is very minimal. The app is very basic but it certainly gets the job done to be able to track my expenses and budgets.

I used YNAB 4 and I use the subscription version now every Friday to reconcile our family finances. Helped us plan for the future for my husband and me.

More than a budget software. You have to buy into the philosophy. Learn the software through YouTube and commit to the philosophy. Don’t just track your money, assign every dollar a job! Also join the group on Facebook and learn from other’s successes. Yes it does cost money, but the money I’ve saved more than pays for it. This system has drastically changed how I handle my money and I cannot see my finances without it now!

This software (and subscription) is good if you're starting out with budgeting and have literally no idea where to start. It provides a good framework for understanding your finances, as well as a lot of tutorials. As a user, I found the subscription aspect frustrating as the bank account links that should automatically update with your transactions rarely worked as required. Whether that is because I am a Canadian customer (so all my banks are Canadian) or not, I'm unsure. Connection issues would take months and months to resolve. Considering I was manually entering transactions most months, I decided to cancel and create my own dashboard in google sheets.

I have been using YNAB since 2015. I remember trying various other budget tools at the time but nothing stuck. It essentially does "envelope budgeting": you take your income and you assign each dollar to a category. It took a bit of time to understand how the app worked, and I still use a separate Google Doc for figuring out how much should go into each budget category. Also it *does* take a decent amount of work: but that's sort of on purpose. You want to think about every dollar you spend and make sure it fits your budget before spending it.I highly recommend YNAB!

I’m not sure I can pinpoint which part of this service makes it click for me, but I just find their budgeting process to be a lot more straightforward than other apps. I can definitely say it has put me more on track with my personal finances.

I use the online app You Need A Budget and I paid off all my debt in six months and increased my net worth by 20,000 in nine - it is a life saver - It costs $80 a year but obviously pays for itself many times over! I highly recommend!

I have been using this software for close to 10 years now. It has taught me how to plan for the future, how to anticipate my financial needs and spend guilt-free.
Having a budget can be life-changing. Forget about wondering whether you can afford to go to Starbucks or that new make-up item. Monitoring your spending and allocating your money into the most important categories first will allow you to have the piece of mind that you can handle your bills, you are saving for your future and when you can splurge.
This particular one is easy to use, it does not have integration with my European banks, but I manually import my truncations. The UI is easy to use and easy to set-up. Cannot recommend it enough
